derealization/dp is just your brain turning fight or flight mode on, even if it's not necessary. your brain thinks that u need to pay attention to the feeling of dizziness and unreality, just to stop you from thinking of trauma and anxiety or stress.
the worst thing about derealization/dp is that, the only way to stop it, is fully to stop thinking about it. but dpdr is caused by anxiety and dpdr is creating more anxiety. funny, huh?
