You must leave the palace at once. Run now. Since you failed to save Prince Yeongan, His Majesty will kill you. If I leave now, you will die as Prince Yeongan did. It does not concern you. Yes it does. You saved me. And this time, I will save you.

NAM JOO HYUK as GU CHEON The East Palace 동궁 (2026) dir. Choi Jung Kyu
I wonder what Princess was doing for those three days. I'm sure she was trying to bring him back by hugging him, massaging, pleading (as we know Gu Cheon could feel it, so I guess it was like the saddest fucking thing in the world). The servants probably heard her crying and calling for him, so everyone became alarmed. Then the King came. Saenggang didn't allow them to touch him. Maybe even was rude to her father. I am sure that the King sent her servants and guards. And they were instructed to do everything as she says. For three days. Because probably it is universal to keep body before the burial for three days? T_T Saenggang washed him herself (or with the help of Ji Yul, because she can be trusted). So she washed him and put him in new clothes and lovingly put him in soft bed under the warmest blanket, facing the sunny side (he's always cold, Ji Yul! Bring another blanket and lit more candles, hurry). I just know it that after all that, she sent everyone outside and kept hugging him, talking to him, threaten, beg. The bell was already on the bed, so she must have put it there earlier T_T So he would use it and call for her. Mfs T_T She refused food and refused to leave him alone, and the moments she had to leave, Ji Yul was left by his side (he might wake up and he shouldn't be alone, Ji Yul). She slept by his side, holding his hand, perhaps lying on his chest, so not to miss his first heartbeat. She probably told him a lot of stuff during that time. On the third day we can see her being as pale as Gu Cheon, as if she lost half of her heart and stubborness. No more tears left, she's exhausted and in despair. But she wouldn't give up. I can imagine the fight she would put up if someone came to try and take him. Dear God.
I don't know why I keep torturing myself like that. There are so many talented authors, can someone write those three days for me? T_T
Aks for anything in return my hand and my heart XDDD
The moment I heard the gwi-mae say that you would die tonight, I moved before I could even think. You are the only one in this palace I can trust and rely on. So… I will not stand by and let you die. I will save you even if it means sacrificing my life. Thank you for protecting me all this time.
This is the only way to save the Princess. She was willing to risk her life for me, so I must do the same. [...] Primordial Gwi-mae. I will give you whatever you want. In return, grant me your power so that I can save the Princess.
what if you were an orphan living with buddhist MONKS and suddenly the literal king of the nation shows up and KIDNAPS you because you can see GHOSTS and says you gotta save my bloodline from a demonic curse and then sends his literal daughter the shunned PRINCESS to watch over you and you literally could not care less but you're a good person so you travel to spirit dimensions to save the royal family while the princess' BELL ties your soul to hers so she can summon you back to reality and save your SOUL from spirit demons and creatures and now you guys are some ghostbuster spirit hunting duo in the span of 4 business days
when i look like crazy but in fact i'm just in love with the same person for 4 years
even though we spent 1 year and half without being in touch
muscle memory is so beautiful to me. my body remembered better than i did. yet we're the same thing, with the same memory.
Let’s get back to dressing your wounds. No, no, no. That’s enough. It hurts.

Thank you. Thank you for staying by my side. I should thank you. Think back to the first day you met me. Thank you for coming into my life. You pulled me up from a dark place. Nah. You slapped me into shape as well.

i think the best thing about peteniran for me is that this show started with the two of them in dark places, and they helped each other out of that, but not by changing who they are. pete found balance and stability again, the thing he seemed to have lost when his parents died. niran found faith in himself and the resolve to stay true to who he is, which has been a struggle for him his entire life. they became more true to themselves by being together.
imagine being sky you're one of the finest actor and you're acting with your cute bro dude who is manhandling you in the scene because that's what the script demands and you're unable to keep it in because holyshit this is awesome and you break the character to blush and laugh and then you get embarassed by it so you hide behind your friend's biceps and the said friend caresses your back and the director yells 'cut' so still blushing and giggling you think okay another take hehe but then to your horror you see people around you specifically save this scene hurriedly and then over the days your social media is filled with the scene and in the series account as well and fuck you get to watch the scene, which was supposed to be a failed shot or even a blooper, being aired inside the series and people are eating it up
thank you p'waa for keeping this scene ily
#i'm putting him in my pocket 🤏🏻🤏🏻🤏🏻

I still can't wrap my head around what happened in the life spirit realm. We met three versions of niran there. One when he was a child, full of hope and determination, the one who knew what he wanted, the one who didn't give up easily; the second when he still cared about how his clan pursued him, the one who still wanted to fit in so bad; the third niran, who is already an outcast, who once wanted to be an wu so bad now denies even being called one, the one who claims to have no goal when asked what he would like to do in the future, the one whom pete knows.
This is the niran we have been seeing since the beginning of the show. Now how am I suppose to see him and not remember how empty he felt inside all this time. He was so isolated, so lonely.
Fei or Jia hao can defeat Qi Rong because he feels so replaceable to himself (measuring his worth with the power of a wu and what he can do with that power but at the same time unable to accept he is a wu which is just ughhh)
The one who is just so so tired. Who is tired to chasing himself, tired of fitting in. ('Can't i just sit down for once' asks the guy who never once stopped trying to reach the suming school. The one who was so sure he'd find his way to it somehow, is now just letting whatever take him wherever)
His life feels no better than a literal void to him.
On the contrary the void makes him feel nicer. The nothingness of a void that is slowly devouring him makes him feel better than his real life to him.
Then when he was finally ready to let go Pete says this
Even though he spend most of his life lonely, feeling absolutely isolated. Atleast in the spirit realm, niran knew there is someone who came all the way to a different realm for him, held him in his arms desperately begging him not to give up while sobbing how much niran means to him. After a very long time, while his life force is slowly drifting into the void, I think niran didn't feel so alone anymore.
this is why community, friendship, and therapy is important. so that you don't become one with the void. so that you don't become used to the pain so that you stop living in the past, so that you don't run away from yourself every chance you get. and most importantly so that you don't reject kindness and connection from others
MY DEAR NIRAN
It belonged to my Mom. I just learned she left me something before she died. You gave me something of your grandpa’s. I want to give you something of my Mom’s in return. I don’t know if it has power like yours, though. It does. Every piece of jade that’s passed from one hand to the next gathers the power to protect its owner. But are you sure you want to— Yep. It’s for you. And if it has power, I want that power to protect you.

other than the lovey dovey moments of skynani during this press live and godji being the sweetest sister to them, this was also a favorite of mine.
look how happy godji was when sky highlighted the fact that the viewers loved her as fei and that fei is unbelievably beautiful and that her aura is so captivating. sky even shared that they would normally see godji portraying funny roles, but this time around in wu, she came out as serious but just as beautiful, and that she pulled it off.
godji really deserved all the recognition and support for what she do.
(in addition, i really, really adore that sky and godji had maintained the sibling energy they have even outside filming. and that godji takes good care of both sky and nani, while sky and nani does the same to her.)
