I just can't stop feeling scared of what US, or even world, might become in the next 4 years. Being women, not white, sexual minority and Muslim may be more depressing than now. I can't believe a lot of people think "in darkest times great music/film/culture tend to arise" or "lol US is stupid" or make jokes of this situation. This could happen in any other country. Also people shouldn't say like, "I'm stupid so I don't understand anything about politics, and I don't care". It cannot be an excuse for being ignorant, lazy and irresponsible. They're actually putting their heads in the noose, it means you don't, or can't, complain if inappropriate candidate became president and he encouraged the discrimination and you're one of the target. I'm so fed up with these people (especially Japanese) I saw on Twitter. They are way too optimistic about this. They just ignored the fear we, people living outside of Japan/immigrants/students studying abroad, are feeling or ignored Trump being racist, rapist, Muslim hater, misogynist, white power and KKK endorsed and all these Japanese people talking about is how cute Trump's youngest son is. Seriously I don't know what to say. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's pretty obvious that pretty boy will become like his father or older brothers soon, and, there must be more important things we should talk/care about. I fear for the future.
