Four Years Later..

And here we are. Pixiv proved too slow and cumbersome for my liking, in the end. Without anywhere else to serve as a repository, I guess I’ll just have to store my commissioned art here. On the plus side, Edgerunners hype is riding high, so the cyberpunk genre is at an all-time high! The perfect time to start dumping bucketloads of cyberpunk and ‘Runner artwork.

Where to next.

To answer the question of where I will go next.. I started a Pixiv account to keep following artists - because fuck Twitter, it's no different from Tumblr at the end of the day: https://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=36274898 That being said, pretty sure I can't go around uploading other peoples' art there unless I'm able to get permission from individual artists to do so. Otherwise, at best it’ll be an empty lot I used to follow artists and keep trying to get comms.

Tumblr Failing At Life Again

Looks like I’ma be deleting my NSFW reblogs and whatnot to avoid the nukes. Sorry to all the awesome artists who made stuff for me. I have no idea if I’ll still be around after this fiasco, to be honest. Considering that even in the case of purely SFW artists, the mass exodus of users will harm their bottom line of followers as well, thus leaving them with less incentive to stick around when they can grow a following on sites like Pixiv. In other words, this site is pretty much doomed to be an echo chamber for political propaganda memes and self-masturbatory social commentary. And since this is a blog dedicated purely to me reblogging art I commissioned.. yeah, ain’t gonna be any reason for me to stick around after all the artists end up picking up and leaving. It’s been nice meeting great artists, at least. So kudos for that.

She does have Attribute numbers set, yes. Although I actually have been considering respeccing her to be a bit more ‘naturally balanced’, whilst throwing the spare points into Skills.I’ll first establish the Rating spectrum, just so there’s a kind of clear idea as to what each rating represents for any non-Shadowrun people reading:1 - Weak2 - Underdeveloped3 - Typical4 - Improved5 - Superior6 - Maximum unmodified humanEssentially, this is the baseline for normal humans in Shadowrun. To go above the Rating 6 cap would require either spending double the amount of required points to increase an Attribute by just one point. Alternative methods are taking an ‘Edge’ (basically like a bonus ability) on creation such as ‘Bonus Attribute’ to give yourself a +1 to an Attribute without spending any points. There is also the ‘Exceptional Attribute‘ bonus which allows you to go beyond the ‘racial maximum’ by one point as well (i.e. for a human, it raises the attribute’s max to a 7).These are all the ‘natural’ ways of boosting an Attribute. Beyond that there is Bioware and Cyberware, respectively; hence the ‘unmodified’ descriptor...With that lengthy explanation aside, Digi’s Attributes are as follows:Body: 4 Quickness: 5Strength: 3 Charisma: 4Intelligence 8 (10 with Cyberware)Willpower: 4In Digi’s case, she has both Attribute bonuses for INT, plus bioware that also enhances her cognitive abilities. In other words, she is exceptionally intelligent - which factors into her shit personality of being kind of an arrogant or haughty bitch sometimes, hah.I think once I revise her stats, I’ll take a point out of Strength and Quickness and spend the points on further increasing things like her Decking ability to the point that she’s pretty much top-tier in the field..Wew. That turned into a far longer post than expected..

So...what is digi story and what it's based off and also where can I read it

Digi’s story? Do you mean the ‘Year One’ story, or just in general?Hmm.. Well, in general, Digi is made for the Shadowrun tabletop RPG setting. Specifically, she was created for the 2050′s era of the setting (namely 1st and 2nd Editions of the game). In that regard, she has a fully fleshed out backstory all ready to go.The ‘Year One’ story is meant to follow her first year on the run, and her eventual becoming a Shadowrunner. I admittedly haven’t had the time to sit down and write it due to real life matters.
