Gatekeepers will never fail to make me like unreasonably angry. Especially when it comes to music, like bro your fav artist is going to go BROKE if you keep other people from exploring their music. Your bandmen can’t go on tour or preform anywhere if they can’t afford the venues. They also, cannot afford to EAT and yknow pay RENT if their music isn’t gaining any traction. Same thing with authors and painters, your favorite author can’t pay their bills if no one is buying their work.

*writes a whole paragraph complaining that egl and vkei don't feel like subcultures anymore and that there are some bands / dress motives / brands / statements / makeup styles that are considered cool and are repeated all over again and if you don't fit in you're basically ignored or hated on and people say they love vkei even tho they know only 2 Gackt era Malice Mizer songs and maybe 1 Plastic Tree song and don't care about bangya culture etc and some are even doing "vkei fashion hauls" from shein and it's idiotic af but they fit into the generic vkei look standards so they still get likes on social media and have a lot of friends and are considered cool and it got to the point where you can't talk about vkei music with "vkei fans" because a lot of them don't know even the most classic bands / listen to only 1 band / pretend to listen to vkei to seem unique Individualistic and original but they don't*
