Hello, here is some stuff about me:
- I live in Belgium and speak English and French
- I am autistic and have ocd
- I am vegetarian 🌱 and aspire to live in a van and travel the world
- My favourite (main) ST characters are: Data, Julian, Spock, Odo (before season 6), Barclay, Tuvok and Seven of Nine (and Rom, the Emh and Malcolm too) because I relate the most to them, especially Data. Other than those characters I like to believe are autistic, I also love Quark, Nog, Geordi, Riker, Jadzia, Chekov, Guinan, Picard, Chakotay,.. pretty much everyone lol
- My favourite ST shows are: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and The Original Series. I also enjoy Enterprise, especially the 3rd and 4th season. I do not enjoy the new shows because of all the redesigns and the colour palettes (colours are important to me), among other things. I also hate the fact that it’s so.. depressing for lack of a better word, Star Trek has always been about hope! Also I strongly dislike the recent movies, the fact that they were made by someone who doesn’t even like ST says a lot.
- I mainly listen to Jazz, Ska, Classical (+traditional Slavic music) and New Wave + 70’s music (I adore the space age period + 50’s/60’s/70’s/80’s in general, I grew up surrounded by all things ‘vintage’ thanks to my mom!). I also enjoy musical theatre, I saw The Book of Mormon, UK Falsettos and LesMis live. My top favourite singers are Frank Sinatra, Leonard Cohen, Gary Numan and David Bowie. Favourite groups are Tears For Fears, Depeche Mode, A-Ha and Huey Lewis & The News.
- Obviously I love everything Sci-fi because I love astrophysics/space (needless to say I don’t believe in astrology and all that pseudoscience nonsense)
- My other interest is Disney (most specifically the old classics, I do not enjoy the recent movies/series as much, mainly because of the animation style and the rushed/bad storytelling)
- I write stories. I also enjoy walking (especially in the forest where I can imagine fantasy is real :D), reading and drawing/making art/writing. I also enjoy dancing to my favourite songs but I know I look silly to others because of my coordination problems so I rarely do it, and when I do it’s alone in my room
- Speaking of my room, I love it because it has a lot of Disney and Star Trek stuff. I never touch or move them, they each have their specific place. There is also some Pokemon stuff because it was my first interest
