Another lot from Yuri on Ice!!!, this time it’s the Hasetsu Ninja House/Castle and the small seating area where Viktor tries to get to know Yuuri better but is distracted by ninjas. The building itself just contains a basement with a rabbit hole and bathrooms - which is a little less glamorous than I wanted. The surrounding area provides lots of photo and screenshot opportunities though, as well as a picnic area and a small fire pit. Can’t wait to make these two and drag them there on a date. (with Makkachin, of course.)

I think the most fun part of this one was figuring out the incline on the stairs and building the little picnic area with the overhead plants.

Kego Koen Redux is a small park on a 2x1 lot with a small seating area, pond, and a couple of chess boards. My neighborhood is pretty small, so this will make a decent meeting spot on the far side of town. Kego Koen is a park where people mostly go on lunch break, so I positioned it in the small space next to my Nakasu yatai lot on the other side from the parking area.

I’m currently working on a bunch of lots in my Sims game based on locations in Yuri on Ice. The image it’s based on has a pretty dark background, so I took liberties with the yatai (food stalls) and also based them on area in Nakasu. The two stalls on either end serve food (styled after a ramen and oden stall) and the middle one serves nectar. The shop at the very end serves food as well (styled after a small sushi restaurant). The white buildings behind the yatai contain a bubble bar, arcade, dance bar, and stairs leading down into a basement full of rabbit holes (subway stop, fortune teller, and criminal building).

Please ignore the grid lines and inconsistencies. Most of the items in my game are more Chinese than Japanese, so I’m working around what I have since my computer can’t handle a ton of downloads. I’ll likely update this later with reference photos.

Yo, I haven’t made dolls in an age and probably won’t anytime soon. I will definitely go back to making dolls at some point, but for some reason it’s not doing it for me right now. But I have picked back up on playing Sims 3 - so I might post my Sims and buildings because that’s kind of like a dollmaker? So fair warning, this might become a sims blog for a while. I’m currently making Yuri on Ice!!! and Haikyuu!! sims. (I’ll continue to reblog my friends’ dolls and any dolls I see that are awesome, because this is still a doll blog and my friends’ dolls are gorgeous.)

hey just letting people know this blog’s not dead. i had a freelance gig, a move, and my mom is like angry at me - so I haven’t had time to make dolls lately. but when this is all settled down, I’m probably going to make dolls for a week straight to calm down. stay tuned?
