I got the trial of Clip Studio Paint recently and drew this to try it out. Really enjoying it so far, probably going to buy it later. This is the shiny pallete of a milotic/vaporeon crossbreed I designed, a little messy since it was mostly for fun and practice but I enjoyed drawing it.

A bit rushed, but happy new year everyone! I’ve definitely not forgotten to post art from 2019, totally.
My first non-digital drawing in awhile! I did my best to edit the colors a bit to match how it looked IRL better, but the skin tone was definitely messed up. I used a very pinkish magenta-y color but on camera it just came out red. Hopefully it still looks good regardless!

A sequin inspired mermaid! She’s an old design I dug out of my WIP folder and finished drawing.
Finished this commission yesterday! Spent a lot of time on the details but the person I made it for was happy. It’s their character in FFXIV in their scholar glamor.
I went to my old deviantart and found some old drawings, so I went ahead and redrew one of them! I did this as a digital painting and it took probably around 4-6 hours in total? I didn’t keep track of time and did it over the course of a few days.
I made this ref sheet of a chicken slime idea based off a reddit post I found. If I changed anything I would probably redraw the front and size view to be a bit more like the icon I made for them in the top right. I’m happy with it though!
Some fanart! I went to start a sketch of this for later, and I ended up finishing the entire picture in one sitting. Which is pretty unusual for me. Really loved this design though, so I decided to draw It. A few details are lost without the transparent background, but I’m very happy with how it turned out!
Hey, I was really hoping to get out all my Halloween inspired mers this month, but unfortunately I’ve been pretty sick recently and haven’t been able to finish up my sketches. I’ll still work to get them out once I’m feeling better but obviously it won’t be before the end of October.
Jack O Lantern mer! Did something a little different for coloring and shading. I’ll see if I decide to use it more often.
