I have a theory: No Diggity by Blackstreet is timeless. If Frank Sinatra is timeless in 2015, so too is No Diggity in 2050, fondly remembered by our children's children as the icon of the 90s. And I think that I can prove it.
Really cool to see Nirvana up front.

Spotify is preparing to move towards premium-only content, according to sources. A refusal to partition content has kept artists like Taylor Swift away.
Spotify finally making their move.
Cool new song from indie band called Foals! Really chill song and very catchy. I hope their upcoming album “What Went Down” is as good as this song.
Sweet new release from The Black Eyed Peas called Yesterday! Just some straight up rap that sounds really good without any unnecessary pop or auto tune. Nice references to past rap too.
8.5/10
Foo Fighters -Citi Field- July 15th
The Citi Field stadium was packed with thousands of fans as they waited for the Foo Fighters to take the stage. However, before they came on, the band Royal Blood took the stage. The bass/drummer combo of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher created a surprisingly powerful sound that shook the stadium. You could feel the bass drum hitting your chest. Their songs had a hard rock feel along with great lead vocals. During one of their songs, they even hinted at Metallica’s song Iron Man. All in all, they were are great start to the night!
Royal Blood: 7/10
On to the main event, the Foo Fighters rocked the show! Even though I was sitting high up in the stands, I felt very much a part of the crowd. They quickly won fans over by playing their most famous songs like Everlong, Monkey Wrench, Learn to Fly, and The Pretender. Even though everyone knows the story, Dave sat on his thrown of guitars and explained the tale of his broken leg to the audience. A favorite moment of mine was when he asked if they should play classic rock covers or Foo Fighter songs. The crowd responded with a resounding “BOTH!” They covered songs like Under Pressure (Queen), Let There Be Rock (AC/DC), Next To You (The Police), and Stay With Me (Faces) with surprise guest drummer Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers! They also played many songs from their new album (Sonic Highways). Coming home with a sore throat and shocked eardrums, I would call the night a success. This was definitely a concert that any die-hard Foo Fighters fan (including myself) will remember!
Foo Fighters: 9.5/10
Me thinking about the FOO FIGHTERS concert tomorrow at Citi Field!!!
To the greatest most unusual bass player of all time and my close friend. Chris Squire - RIP

New release from Meek Mill featuring Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj currently climbing the U.S. charts. Nice vocals from Chris Brown and cool raps from Meek and Nicki. You’ll definitely hear it on the radio and should check out the rest of the album

Dave on the throne!
A great new song by Robin Thicke. After allegations of music theft, Thicke gives partial credit of this song to Barry White to try and avoid any more allegations. In my opinion, this feels like an attempt at redemption for his song Blurred Lines. Pretty good.
These guys are great! Only a bassist and and a drummer, but it sounds killer. If you like the Arctic Monkeys you’ll enjoy these guys. Can’t wait to see them open with the Foo Fighters at Citi Field on July 15th!
AC/DC finally joins the Spotify crew! It’s about time!
