I think it's fine and even normal to feel a bit lonely, miss people or wish you could have gone too if people you care about are off doing something fun somewhere but people who get into extremely bad moods and sulk for days when their friends are having fun are genuinely so unpleasant. When you do this shit (and yes it's quite obvious) you just make the people you care about censor themselves and keep things from you, it makes them not want to include you, it hurts them when they know their happiness makes you miserable or even vengeful. I really wish I would stop accidentally making friends with people who are incapable of being happy for other people.

Sorry to bring my vague complaining here I'm just tired.

I just want to remind you that sometimes your life really doesn't begin until you are 26+... Romanticizing and obsessing over our youth is harmful. Growing up is beautiful. Discovering who you are and how you interact with the world is a gift. Maturing and learning what you truly want out of life and living in that purpose brings fulfillment and peace. Your life is not over in your early 20's because you haven't figured it out yet, it's just beginning.
