Eclipse mirror and lamp by Atelier JM
Eclipse is the circular, overlapping combination of a wall lamp and a mirror, designed by Jie Mao of the recently created, China-based Atelier JM. The mirror can be slid off the lamp while creating a lunar or solar-like eclipse.

Looking back at some old projects from semester one at university.
Brief - Design and 3D print a part for the VR Google Cardboard. The part has to make the VR more comfortable for the user.
Outcome - Designed a nose clip that makes the inner nose part of the VR more comfortable and smooth.
Super happy that my part 3D printed! 😄
The main purpose of the mirror is to encourage people to feel more confident within themselves, by placing this mirror at the exit of their homes they can look and have a final check of themselves before they start the day.
The mirror has three shelf’s, this is so the user when the leave or enter their home can put their important things such as keys, loose change etc on the mirror and each morning they aren’t running around crazy trying to look for their important belongings! 😊
In OR Out design concept to encourage children to have a school meal over packed lunches. The idea behind it is so allow the child to take their lunch inside or outside to combine eating and play.
The containers are all sized to how much a child should eat per lunch time so they are not under or over eating and to encourage healthy eating without it being forced upon them.
A design to encourage adults and kids to bond safer within the kitchen through safer cooking!
Not posted in a while due to heavy work load at university but thought I would share a project I recently done.
We got told to pick a perfume brand so I went with Beyoncé's perfume brand (Thought no one else would pick that brand and wanted to be different) we had to put a more 'innovative' design to it. This project has tied up with what we have been doing with that class about designing for people with disabilities. So I have been focusing on the hands.
I tried to keep the Beyonce brand within the perfume bottle but instead of a spray bottle I chose a roll on bottle as I thought it would be easier for people that have trouble with their hands.
Also thought more about materials and the aesthetic side but here is a few slides I made up to explain for my presentation.
Been first of a few projects getting back in the swing of things after unfortunate circumstances.

Wednesday was brief day! This project is all about coding. Got to play about with some basic tools to get us started off in the right direction. Very excited to see what the final outcome is. Got one month to produce the final cocept and model. Getting to play about with Arduino.
