I’ve done some Twitter threads on this topic, so thought it might be nice to do a Tumblr post too. One of my pet peeves is when people act like adult fantasy (or sci-fi for that matter) is just a straight white dude thing and that diversity only exists in young adult fantasy. That’s such a disservice to all the authors of marginalized identities currently writing adult fantasy!

Yeah I totally agree with you!!! On the one hand they recommend such cool and unknown artist and on the other hand they collab with kinda problematic ones... though I also only find out about it after the collaboration because I don't care for their personal life but the whole fandom is screaming ^^ and I totally get that, I don't want my fav to be associated with rape apologists and what not as well but I kinda feel like, the boys are totally star struck themselves? That they are so in awe over their childhood idols wanting to collaborate with them, that they forget, that they are stars now as well... and like I said I wouldn't know all the shade about those people as well because I never cared for their personal life's so I really hope, that they don't know about it 😪
