Oh also Scp-049 is talked about in this one, I have him acting as 096's parent figure and mentor✌️
096 struggles to sleep at night because his muscles are very taut and it's hard for him to relax unless it's consciously.
Also, because 106 keeps barging in and poking him with his funky smelling finger, and or asking him what he dreams about in that creepy way he always talks.
There is one dream where he laid his head on 049's lap under the canopy of a dead tree, growing from an ocean of blood and bile. [This is referencing that one video from a past youtuber named SCP-ILLUSTRATED, who has focused on other things, I legit cried UGLY at that video ngl]
049 had woken up from a coma, after 096 had been found, recaptured, and hospitalized. 049 had then been asking who had survived the last encounter with 682 and the flesh that hates, which brought him to care more about 096 and the others despite his own injuries. 049 also has helped 096 regain his ability to communicate, and was the first one 096 trusted.
From then on, 096 has seen 049 as a father figure, or mother figure, or parent figure. He doesn't have direct genetic parents, so this level of trust is new to him. He sees 049 frequently in his dreams, because the comforting presence has sparked light into his subconscious.
Another dream, however, is one where he's coughing up blood, alone, until a dark figure embraces him and keeps him there in the dark until no more blood comes out.
That isn't 049 though, usually 049 would talk about his day or talk about plants or animals in his notes, so 096 is distracted from any disturbed thought. The figure in that dream breathes loudly, albiet very grossly, but that's it.
106 seems to know that dream in particular, asking 096 if he has coughed up blood before. 096 doesn't answer but the intensity in his face and unease in his eyes does all the work.
096 feels entirely lucid and aware in that dream, which makes him question if he was actually awake during the whole thing. Or like half asleep.
He still feels exhausted afterwards, sleep doesn't help him as much as it should.
