In my au, The Scp Foundation has been using scps as agents to contain or eliminate anomalies that would be too dangerous to handle—or hunt down the people responsible for setting one free. 096 doesn't like the execution of this idea, people could see them, but he gets to smell fresh grass and see the earth again. So, reluctantly, he accepts this kind of work.

096 has a dilemma where he's a better person now, and that killing people that see his face [and arent chipped] is an unfortunate and natural occurance—but he's devastated when something full of life is dead, because he's the cause of it, and thinks of himself as the worst person ever.

Weirdly this is the opposite of 106's [yeah sorry i have to mention the swamp, their interactions are important to me] bro just loves killing people and watching them rot, and finds amusement when they fight back. Which is wrong in every way but it [sadly] makes shit interesting between them so I reluctantly give him a pass. He doesn't torture 096 because it amuses him to see the man shame or torture himself, because he hurt someone. Either that or he just likes him, very ominously and ambiguously enjoying 096's company.

096 hates when he's frustrated or angry, he doesn't want people to think he hates them or that he's gone mad. Its worse when it's around people he trusts, he doesn't want to hurt them by accident.

That's why 096 is patient around the people he doesn't like, there's always a potential friend when one is a teammate or another scp. His hate is very low bar, but he will show agitation if he's poked enough.

But he does get irritated, a lot, usually at the sounds of people [still readjusting to everything after his containment changed + sensory issues?]

Because of how tall he is, he has to bend down to hear people, a bit daunting for the stranger speaking to him because he's leaning OVER them.

If I'm being honest i had some prior context but talking abt it will be difficult 😭

They don't necessarily fight each other [physically] but there's tension. 106 keeps breaking out bc there's more people to hunt, but visits 096 for no reason other than to stare at him and say some ominous shit and bother him. He'll keep talking while 096 is doing something like chores or just sitting around, spouting philosophical nonsense abt how they're two sides of the same coin or something.

096 doesn't engage with it, because he has difficulty talking to anyone, but he'll narrow his eyes at 106 when he's getting annoyed or tired of talking. Of course, 096 considers whatever the old man says, but doesn't really add anything to it. 106 is very enamored by this behavior and tries poking at him or making fun of him, to see if there's more under that skin than just quiet. He's seen his anger before but he hasn't been at the recieving end of it [and for some reason unknown to me, he wants to be].

Tried making 096's mandible thingy and show how his eyes work [visually?] and this is what I came up with!!!

This is a more stylized version and I was thinking about making upper mandibles or something, they'd tuck up in the roof of the mouth. [Like a necromorph? Kind of?]

He also looks like a deep sea creature in this lighting lmao, the sad wet cat who's not really a cat 😔❤️

solardragon doodle dump, featuring some of the cast as temeraire dragon breeds, whether they're canon or my own fan-made ones! :) this is all based on an au idea i've expanded on a bit with this post with astrodude; essentially plopping these guys into dragon bodies, living their lives happily, whilst simultaneously getting flashes of memories from their lives as planets (or, in astrodude's case, a ball). may do more of these in the future, i dunno :D (some designs aren't offically concrete.. jupiter's, for example, so i expect his might change eventually) without color and close-ups below <3
