Dinotalk, Inc., creators of the original Talking Envelopes, announced that Erin Schlosser of Schlosser Designs, who won the 2010 Dinotalk Scrapbook Invitational, selected the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund as the charity of her choice.

For winning the 2010 Dinotalk Scrapbook Invitational, Ms. Schlosser earned a gift certificate for use on Scrapbook.com, along with a matching donation to the charity of her choice.

Dinotalk recently made the donation to the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund on behalf of Ms. Schlosser. “We are very honored to make a donation to this research fund on Erin’s behalf particularly because of her closeness to the organization,” said Bart Vantieghem, founder of Dinotalk Inc.

Fanconi anemia, a fatal disease, causes aplastic anemia, which is bone marrow failure. Donations have helped move Fanconi anemia from an orphaned status in 1989 to a disease with treatments that now buy precious time for Fanconi anemia patients.

“This cause is near and dear to my heart as I’ve had the opportunity to teach a child with Fanconi anemia through church, and it has been such a blessing in my life,” said Ms. Schlosser.
