The Pest Club | Explained

The Pest Club is a slice-of-life, dark comedy series told in the form of comics and animations.

It stars a cast of 13 women trying their best to live in harmony as the remaining members of a defunct cult (started by the 'once great' Lucilia Catacata). Each woman provides a certain service to keep their little society together, but peace can't be kept forever and they often find themselves in strange situations

'Robber' Pharaoh: Giant Blue Robber Fly Skipper Caspio: Cheese Skipper Fly Billie Bombace: Greater Bee Fly Scarlet Wohlfahrt: Spotted Flesh Fly Melanie Dewberry: Gynandromorph Fruit Fly Midge Horne: Biting Midge Tabitha Clegman: Common Horse Fly Domneva 'Handy' Musker: House Fly

All characters featured are based on a kind of fly/diptera. This encompasses appearance, fashion, personality, name, and story. TPC started out as a series of fly based personality tests and progressed from there.

The tone is generally wholesome/comedic but darker elements and details will be featured throughout, especially in backstories.

TPC has undergone several rewrites in the past and is still subject to change but this will very likely be the base format.

Creator's note: I am quite busy in my daily life so large comics, animations, or projects will not be frequent. I will try my best to post artwork and smaller comics as much as I can, as I am passionate about these characters and they bring me joy. :)
