"I’m sure we’ll be able to find him between the two of us." He was the only one that Bobbi had any real confidence in anyway. "He won’t be invisible forever." No matter how good at hiding he was, they were equally good at finding people.

"I know." Natasha just wasn't sure if she did want to find him. She wasn't sure what she would do if Clint was actually Hydra, because that was a gut punch she didn't want to think about dealing with. "We'll just hope for the best. I do miss him." Or at least, I miss who I thought he was.

Coincidence - Natasha and Steve

Steve was at his wits end, hitting dead end after dead end with his search for Bucky. It wasn’t easy looking for somebody who had spent centuries hiding and making the intelligence community believe he didn’t exist. Steve knew, in the back of his mind, that it was better to let Bucky come to him. Steve wasn’t going to give up so easily though. He didn’t want to do that to Bucky again, no he had already learned his lesson. This time he was going to make sure he found him, and made sure he was okay and bring him home. Steve beat himself up more days than not, but it was hard not to. Instead he focused on the task, bouncing around from town to town, trying to see if there was any trace of him. So far, Steve’s search has come up cold. He was settling in a college town for the night, relaxing (or trying to) in one of it’s many bars. Even though Steve couldn’t get drunk, he still had hopes that maybe his best friend would find himself lurking in one.

Steve couldn’t help but steal glances from time to time at the female bartender, noticing the many guys that hit on her and that she looked oddly familiar. He couldn’t put his name on it, but she did. Steve had half a mind to say that it was Natasha, but that would be silly, wouldn’t it? She would pick somewhere else by now, worlds away. He couldn’t imagine her being in some little college town, serving drinks. Though there was one thing he noticed was that she didn’t have a ride nor a car. Steve wasn’t trying to be a creeper, but he didn’t want to see her get hurt. Naturally he thought the best solution was the lurk behind as she walked, just to make sure she got home safely before returning to his own hotel. When she turned and said his name, a small smile curled upon his face at the familiarity. “Caught me.” he said, holding up his hands. “In my defense, I had no idea it was you, just wanted to make sure you got home okay.”

Natasha felt a small wave of relief when she saw it was really Steve, and his smile put her a little more at ease. She was still a bit unnerved that he had been following her, though, and she wondered how long he had been in this town before he had decided to approach her.

"I really hope you're here by chance, because if you were trying to actually find me, I need to step up my game. I didn't want anyone to find me here," Natasha said. "Or at least, not anyone who's actively looking for me." She waited until Steve caught up with her, and then walked beside him. "Also, if anyone asks, I'm Nadia, and you're my friend from out of town."

Coincidence - Natasha and Steve

Natasha had gotten herself thoroughly lost, and it was definitely on purpose. She wasn't quite sure what she wanted to do with this new alias yet, but she was pretty sure that no one would know her here. She looked young enough that this college town would lend her enough anonymity, and she would blend right in. Or rather, Nadia Rosewood would. Natasha Romanoff didn't exist anymore.

She was paying her bills by doing bartending in the evenings, and she had just gotten off her shift. Going home in the dark didn't scare her, but she hoped no one would bother her, because the last thing she wanted to do was cause an incident that drew attention to herself. She started to hear footsteps, though, and she snuck a quick glance backward as she walked down the street. Her eyes widened with recognition, and she knew the man couldn't have possibly recognized her from the back, since she was wearing a hood.

"... Steve?"

Blackbird - Bobbi and Natasha

"I’m assuming you already found, or tried to find, Clint?" She asked. Bobbi sat in the copilot’s seat and strapped in, getting ready for takeoff. There weren’t many people she trusted completely, but Clint was one of them.

"I tried, but he's done a good job of getting himself off the radar." Given, she hadn't tried very hard, but she had at least made an effort to look for him. Part of him was afraid he was Hydra, since she hadn't seen much of him since the Chitauri attack, and she didn't know if she could face him if he turned out to be Hydra after all. "If we find him, I'll be glad, but he's pretty thoroughly invisible right now."

Bobbi nodded, agreeing with Natasha’s statement. They could always switch off if they got too tired. She stood from the couch, anxious to get out of there to avoid anyone tracking them as unlikely as that may be.

"We should probably get going, then." Natasha could tell Bobbi was antsy, and it was making her antsy too. She led Bobbi to the cockpit, feeling slightly less stressed than usual since she wouldn't be flying alone. "If there's anyone you know of and trust that isn't Hydra, we can go find them."

Bobbi had dropped down onto one of the couches and sighed, happy to have something a little more stable and to be doing what she did best once again. “I think you’re right. Do you want a co-pilot or are you good up there yourself?” There was no need for Bobbi to go and get anything since she had all her stuff in her car. Just in case.

"I could use a co-pilot, honestly." The cockpit got lonely, and Natasha definitely wasn't going to refuse company. She was quickly growing tired of long days in the cockpit by herself, and she had a feeling it would be good for her to have someone else nearby. "It's probably safer that way, in case one of us gets sleepy."

Reading through files was never very entertaining. He did it because it needed to be done, but sometimes it got tireding and Steve itched for something else to do. Even if was just for a five minute break. He groaned in frustration from the amount of bordem. He looked at Natasha when she suggested doing something more interesting. Steve looked over at her and quirked an eyebrow. It was Natasha that they were dealing with, so it had be something good. Unless Steve should be worried, this was Natasha that they were talking about. He licked his lips and shrugged his shoulders, “What did you have in mind?” he asked, watching her as she stood up without saying a word. He really was curious as to what she had in mind, even more curious as to what she was doing. The look on his face was probably priceless as she straddled his lap, grinding into him slowly. “Should I ask what you are doing? Or should I just wait and see?”

"What, have you never heard of a lap dance?" Natasha laughed faintly, still pressing up against him, her hands roaming around his back. "Never mind, don't answer that question, I already know what you'll say." She wondered if people did things like this in the 1940s - probably, but she was fairly sure they hadn't called it a lap dance. 

"Is this interesting enough for you?" Natasha murmured against his neck, her lips brushing his skin. She was loving the way he reacted, and she had been wanting to do something like this for a while now. There had been tension between them for ages, and she hadn't acted on it until now.

The blonde followed the redhead around the plane, taking not of the things that were missing and what she’d have to— or would like to— set up. It would make both of their lives easier as well as keep her from getting too bored. And if she could get some semblance of a lab going, that would be the icing on the cake. “Not bad. It’s more than enough for us to work with.”

"Definitely. And it's shelter that can move. That's the main point. Nick didn't want me to have a static base." Natasha finished showing Bobbi around the plane and led her to the main room, sitting down. "I don't think anyone knows we're here, since this is the middle of nowhere, but we should probably take off soon anyway, just in case."

Bobbi started the car up and watched as the cargo door opened. She drove it in slowly and spotted Natasha’s car, parking hers right next to it. The car was turned off and the emergency brake was pulled before the blonde slid out. “Are you going to give me a tour?” Bobbi asked with a wide smile.

"I could do that, if you want." Bobbi's smile surprised Natasha, but in a good way. Having Bobbi around was cheering her up already. She smiled in return and beckoned for Bobbi to follow her, so they could tour the plane. "It doesn't have as much tech as I'd like, but I had to disable a lot of stuff to make sure Hydra wouldn't track me. Still a pretty nice ride, though."

We Meet Again - Natasha and James

Besides the reasons they’d already mentioned, James also knew he needed the rest, food, and proper treatment for his wound she was offering. “Can we go there now?”, he asked, the ice in his voice melting. Despite his earlier emotional detachment, he couldn’t hide his eagerness completely. He hadn’t known the comforts she was promising in… in decades.

He finally broke away from her touch, standing up with as much grace as his wound would allow. Somehow everything felt colder now that her hand was so far away from him, the gray of the concrete buildings they stood between seemed to seep into everything else. He shook his head slightly, hoping to shake away whatever this feeling was too.

"Yeah, we can go there now." Natasha was surprised at the lack of coldness in his voice, but it put her a little more at ease. He sounded almost hopeful, and definitely not as hostile as he had before. She wasn't sure how this would pan out, but as long as they remained good allies, they could make something work.

When he stood up, she let him go, keeping close in case he needed support. "It's just down a few streets." She started walking, beckoning for him to follow her. She waited until he was walking at her side, rather than at her back, not wanting to turn her back on him. Maybe that was paranoia, but it was too much of an ingrained habit for her now, even though they were temporary allies.

Blackbird - Bobbi and Natasha

"Great. Because of all the cars I’ve ever had, this one’s my favourite," she explained with a smile. Her old Mustang was in perfect condition and it would stay that way. She loved her muscle cars. "Why don’t you go ahead and open it up and I’ll park it."

"Will do." Natasha smiled faintly when Bobbi mentioned the car was her favorite. She wouldn't want to make her leave it behind. She entered the plane and lowered the cargo hold, waiting for Bobbi to drive her car inside.

Lost and Found - Natasha and Clint

Clint nodded some, “I can get some money…” He said with a nod, no issue there. He had his money in mostly cash stashed away, and he would ask Simone to send him some of his money. He trusted her a lot for someone that was relatively new in his life. “So I got that covered…” He said as he took another bite of his meal. 

There were a few beats of silence before he fidgeted some, “Do you think we will remain here for a while?” He asked, because he had left Lucky at home - and he really wished the dog was with him. Lucky was a good dog, and he didn’t want to abandon him (and that’s what it felt like he was doing).

"Okay, that sounds good." Natasha finished up her meal, waiting for Clint to finish his. It was a relief that money wouldn't be a worry for a while, because she had been beginning to wonder when her SHIELD paychecks would finally be gone. She didn't want to start taking assassin jobs again. 

"We don't have to stay here, no. I was actually getting pretty antsy. Maybe we could pack up and go someplace else, find someplace more permanent. I was just here for a month or so."

Blackbird - Bobbi and Natasha

It was fairly easy to navigate their way back to the jet and Bobbi was just glad that they hadn’t needed to walk the hour or two just to get back to it. The blonde parked the car and looked at the plane; it was much bigger than expected. “Do you have room for this on there?” It would be handy to have for situations such as this.

"I do. I can lower the cargo hold and drive it inside. There's a place to hold cars inside, and mine's in there too." Natasha figured Bobbi wouldn't want to leave her car, and having extra transportation just in case was fine with her. If things became really bad, she and Bobbi might have to make separate breaks for it and abandon the plane, and Natasha didn't want to strand Bobbi without transportation.

Lost and Found - Natasha and Clint

Clint sat down happily as he started to eat. Food was food, and honestly… As long as he got to eat he was happy, he was even happier that he was sharing a meal with her.

"Yeah…" He said, agreeing with her, he had no idea where he was going after this, but he had very intention of going there with her.  "I have money…" He said softly with a nod, "Well I can get it sent to me…" He said with a nod.

Natasha's expression softened when she saw how much Clint was enjoying the food. Some things never changed, really. She felt herself get just a little more at ease, watching him.

"Money would be a huge help. I still have some of my last SHIELD paychecks, but it's not much. But pooling our money would be a start." Natasha had the brief thought of pretending to be a couple for their alias. It would prevent a lot of awkward questions, and they'd blend in more that way.

Bobbi followed, just as one should in these kind of situations and walked with Natasha out of the diner. “That’s okay, I can get us there. I’ve got a car.” One that no one knew she had since it was under her brother’s name. “You just tell me where and I’ll drive.” The blonde took the lead this time, bringing Natasha over to where it was parked. Not too far from where she had been staying.

"That would be great, thank you. It took me an hour or two to walk into the city from where I parked." Natasha got into the car's passenger seat when Bobbi opened it for her, and started directing her once she started driving. They drove far enough to lose track of civilization in the mountains, finally reaching her plane, parked in a hidden valley.
