Elluka has witnessed the deaths of many people, but she never grew accustomed to it. She wept openly overcome with grief after Shaw’s death. Also, just before Margarita committed suicide, she asked Elluka. “You’ve been alive for hundreds of years now. But haven’t you ever found that painful? Haven’t you ever felt tired of it?” This is just my speculation, but I think the cause of Eve’s madness might lie in the fact that she continued to bear the pain of losing her husband and her true children all by herself.

In my opinion, Eve’s psychological state is similar to what we in the real world would call perinatal grief. Although Cain and Abel met with a tragic end, they were still her precious children. While Adam certainly bears responsibility for their deaths, but Eve would never have conceived them in the first place if had she not met him. Furthermore, he is likely the only one with whom she can share memories of the time their children were alive inside her womb. In that sense, I surmise that, for better or for worse, Adam is an irreplaceable figure for Eve.

-`♡´- Eve had a habit of self harm even before she became Margarita and every time Adam caught her, he would try to take away any sharp objects that she might use, but always she managed to find a way to make use of something. Eve did this not only for the guilt she felt about her twins dying, but because on some level it stimulated her as well and she had thought about killing herself before to be a reunited with her loved ones, but never followed through, because she never wanted to put Adam through that, especially since she was really the one thing he had left in his life after they ran away together.

To me, Eve’s stillborn children Cain and Abel’s stories would’ve still ended up in tragedy even if they were raised far away after Adam got a conscious and a guilty one at that as shown in first beautiful art peace. Honestly, all of this is quite beautiful.

Eve referred to Cain and Abel as “our children.” To her, Adam was her beloved husband and the father of her beloved children. I think this is why Eve’s incarnations were so strongly attached to men who resembled Adam. Her wishes—“I want to start over” and “I want to see my children”—must have influenced her incarnations.

About Eve, Adam, and Their Stillborn Twins

I believe Eve had always loved Adam, Cain, and Abel. She said her wish was to start all over again and live a peaceful life together with the man she loved and her beloved children.

However, her wish will never come true. That is why she completely lost her mind and came to believe that eternal sleep was the ultimate happiness. Because, as the lyrics of "Gift from the Princess who Brought Sleep" suggest, both unpleasant reality and unrequited feelings can be forgotten within a dream.

I think it was only natural that Mikulia Calgaround feared her past as a prostitute would be exposed. Eve had to remain a virgin in order to stay with Adam and to give birth to Cain and Abel. Perhaps that subconscious drove Mikulia mad.

Cain and Abel were children who died before they were born. The only thing Eve could do for them was to keep remembering that they had truly lived inside her womb, and to continue loving them forever. And Adam also loves Eve and deeply regrets what he did to her. Therefore, he wished to start over from the beginning, too. I understand that some people dislike Eve and Adam, but I feel sorry for them.

-`♡´- There is a strong connection between Project ‘Ma’ and Flower of the Plateau. Eve Moonlit, the true identity of Mikuria Calgaround, wishes to start all over again and live a peaceful life with her husband and children in Held's forest.

However, she had to remain a virgin in order to stay with Adam and to give birth to Cain and Abel when she was a test subject for the project. I think Miklia was driven mad by Eve's love for them, as with Margarita.

Silent Hill F. Amazingly written game. It was so good I needed to draw at least one fanart. I loved the storytelling and symbolism in the game, as well as crafting theories with friends to solve mysteries before we reached the end of the game.
