BETA viewer WANTED!

This is a unique opportunity to view the production of DIRE's first stop motion animated short film before everyone else and give your feedback!

We are currently looking for a motivated individual to beta view the completed storyboard. Our first film has been under wraps since April and we need fresh eyes to view our progress and give his or her input. You will remain apart of the DIRE family afterwards.

Girl's armature, professionally built by Citoplasmas Stop Motion Armatures, specifically for this project. The armature does have fingers! Our puppet department wants to treat the fingers before posing them to avoid breakage.

Seeking concept (turnaround) artist!

DIRE Films is currently seeking a turnaround concept artist for our stop motion short film.

As a TA concept artist, you will be providing a precise and easy to follow black and white turnaround sheet to assist puppet design. These sheets will be given to our professional armature artist so he can successfully create the 'skeleton' of each character, as well as aid our puppet fabricator with sculpting and casting.

In order to qualify, you must..

Work well with a team and our character designer

Successfully provide a 5 point turnaround

Able to translate an existing character design into a sheet while retaining the original style and spirit

Knowledge of human and animal anatomy

Can draw consistent views of a single character

Able to meet deadlines

i want to make my own stop motion movie but I don't know how much it will cost!! I am sorry if this is rude but how much will it cost for your movie?

We are delighted to see more artists who want to make their own stop motion film.

'Stranger' will be a short film, not a movie! At this moment, it is budgeted at $11,000 for a 10 minute long short. This can fluctuate as we dive deeper into production and post production. We are hoping the costs lower! :)

Many stop motion films can be made with a tight budget so don't let our price range discourage you. Good luck!
