I *really* put my self forward: creatively, physically (my disabled body is *TIRED* now), emotionally (I cried 3 times performing last year), and risked a lot (from pyrotechnics to coming out to my family/hometown).

The UCP Government has *ONCE AGAIN* violated the human rights and freedoms of its citizens with the use of the notwithstanding clause.

I was under the impression that conservative governments are ALL about small government and no over reach, if you voted for UCP for this reason, congrats they lied to you, HARD.

If you were a convoy, whatever, conservative during covid, where is your rage?

If you are "leave the government out of my family" conservative, where is your rage?

If you are an "don't tread on me" conservative, where is your rage?

If you are an "I vote conservative for the economy, not for social reasons" conservative, where is your rage?

That's right, it's not existent, because its teachers striking and trans kids & families, because you don't care about what you said, because of bigotry, because its towards groups of people you DON'T like.

Well, it won't stop there, this government WILL use the notwithstanding clause on more and more groups.

Anyone, and I mean ANYONE that supports the UCP, our blood is on YOUR hands, an heavy weight to bear for life if you have any humanity, if you don't care, you are a monster.

Today is also Trans Day of Rememberance, the day that we, as a community, remember our lost trans siblings, died from bigotry, hate crimes, and government legislation that causes spill blood of us. This blood spilled is all caused by hatred of the trans community.

Since I came out as trans, I have found love in myself, in community, and in relationships like never before, but I also felt fear, fear of being targeted, hate crimed, and my rights & freedoms being stripped away.

And it's happening in Alberta as we speak.

I want to exist as my trueself, without fear, the UCP's goal is to prevent that.
