Armed with a plethora of weapons, lines of jagged teeth, and a stomach full of powerful acids, Delpha is a greatly feared presence on the seas, and she stops at nothing to satisfy her bloodlust and hunger.

Sadie whimpered. How long had it been? Days? Weeks? She had lost all sense of time. Originally, she had tried to keep track of when the mouse ate or slept, but had quickly lost track: the predatory rodent seemed to snack constantly, making it difficult to count the defined meals. Time became a blur, sliced into consistent, tiny sections by the beating of the mouse’s heart, somewhere nearby.
