Ricky Wysocki Playing More Aggressive? Part 1 Memorial (2017- 2018)
We are a few tournaments in to the 2018 disc golf season, and Ricky was off to a slow start until he repeated with a win at Jonesboro. Anyone that watched any coverage this year can see he was have issues with his putt, and in a interview with Ultiworld he explained the he was trying new Putter and that is why he was have issues. I am not here to talk about his slow start. i am here to present a theory that Ricky is playing more aggressive.
I looked at and compared the three tournaments that kept stats this year and last year, to see if my theory is plausible. So i started at the Memorial where Ricky placed tied for 3rd in 2017, and placed 4th this year. Lets start with the one stat that might show if he is playing more aggressive, and that is the Ob rate. In 2017 Ricky had an OB rate of .097 throwing OB 7 times. He never threw more than three OB throws in any of the rounds. (before anyone say they played Fiesta Lakes this year, Ricky did not throw ob that round at all) In 2018 he had an OB rate of .083 with 6 OB throws. He never threw more than two Ob Throws, but he had two OB throws on one hole. Now some would say that fewer OB throws is less aggressive, but it is only one throw so the Ob rate shows very little. When you factor in that Ricky was playing from behind both years, and that he only parked 18% of the holes this year, while he parked 31% in 2017. This stat is hard to judge due to the fact they did not play Fiesta Lakes.
Side Note: As i re-watched the Memorial this year it got me thinking, why is Ricky throwing OB on these wide open course where OB is no where near the ideal landing zones on any of these holes?
So judging by just the Memorial and his OB rate, his scramble percentage, Fair ways hit, and parked percentage we could not tell but lets talk Next week when we factor in the Waco Annual Charity Open and see if we can get a true answer. Make sure to comment your thoughts cause we are United

I have switched to a all trilogy bag and as of now it keeps changing. Mostly around mids I and bagging Emacs with a claymore but I have been rotating out a anchor and pine for a little more stability. Oh I almost forgot my justice. Lol a in the bag video is coming soon as early April
The best in the world!!
Who is the best, Ricky or Paul? That is the question. The answer is more complex than who has the hire rating. The answer is Paul and the reason why comes down to consistent finishes in tournaments. As well as play style. Paul is more aggressive which leads to a slower start but that is also what gets him wins. Ricky simply play the percentages. If you have them both play a 7 round world's ten times we could see Paul win more than Ricky simple cause the numbers would support Paul pushing more the last few rounds than Ricky who would start higher up after first round . Rickey who would shot for birdie on a par 4 where Paul would go for the eagle. We saw that push at the usdgc this year with Paul coming in hot last round and at the hall of fame classic.

2017 worlds
Today was the last to I d of the 2017 world disc golf championship and Ricky took it down even with paul Mcbeth shorting a 11 down. I'm smashboxx tonight Ricky said " I am the best in the world the last two years" what do you all think. Who is the best
Week of disappointment
This week has been a struggle. After me and team #NoPutts win the rec division at the clay dog memorial I went to play at bear creek on Tuesday. Where I shot a awful round. Then the next day we lost our first softball game by a lot. Then I played another round of disc golf at veterans park which was so bad I stopped keeping score. I wanted to go play a few holes today after work but it's going to be raining all day. It's safe to say that it is going to take a lot longer to get my game back to the way it was.

My Sunday mini
Yesterday 6/4/17 I played the ADGA mini at veteran park in arlington tx. I shot a personal best (54) even tha6s every hole being a part 3 some holes to be honest should be par 4s but what are you going to do. With 2 bogeys being in avoidable I should have had shot 2 down which is a very good score for a rec player as my rateing would have you believe
