Come to Spiritual Court

When we come to court and the accuser presents our sin to be judged under the law, we must not come as victims but as victors. Whatever debt or price he claims has already been settled. Whatever penalty he seeks imposed has already been imposed and more has been paid.

We are not headed for the captivity of any prison. The Almighty God has set us free. Jesus, who has guaranteed and paid it, lives. Now we walk free with Him. Victors hand in hand, judgment in our favor.

I got some good motivation today. I had a bad recitation but I wasn't fazed. My mind was clear of my reasons. I knew my shortcomings and I just looked forward to learning. God is good. It was amazing like His grace just supplied me with comfort, joy and confidence. All the glory to God.

Picture this: You have that feeling, of finally being connected with God, of finally knowing intimacy with Jesus, and it is unmatched. To know true love, finally. You have read your Bible every day for a long time, you understand what you're reading, you finally grasp the story of the Bible. Jesus is your best friend. Your heart is made new. You're glowing from the inside out, a happiness you never knew before.

Psalm 118:22

The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.

When Jesus walked on the earth, it was not the common people, but the teachers of the Law and the Pharisees that rejected Him- The ones who had studied the scriptures, who knew that Messiah was to come. They were unwilling to accept Jesus, the carpenter's Son. They rejected Him and conspired to kill Him. But nothing could thwart the plans of God. Jesus Christ died, and rose again and brought salvation to the whole world. Those who reject Him build their lives on sinking sand. Only those who build their lives on Christ, the true cornerstone of faith, will stand firm forever. And when the wind blows and the storms come, they will never be shaken or destroyed.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. I don't believe in luck

I do believe and appreciate the good will of it but I believe it is just that. As a follower of Christ I find it difficult to believe that He would create something as luck. Maybe fate or fortune is more fitting. Although God is a supernatural God, that does not mean that His reasons are completely incomprehensible. He is Truth and Love. We know that and understand that. However, I believe the concept of luck undermines God's good work. This is why I believe there is power in saying "God bless" instead.
