I really want to vote but I have depression and anxiety and I'm just not having the best day today. I feel bad for not voting... is it? :(
I get this question every single polling day.
And from someone with experience, my recommendation is that if there’s one thing you do today it’s to go and vote.
The walk will do you good. The listening to music will do you good. And you won’t feel burdened by not voting.
What you choose to do is up to you. I can’t make you do anything.
Or ask a friend to go with you if you don’t want to go alone. You can look forward to a few things; a good walk, expressing your democratic right, and the chance to maybe pet a dog at the polling station. Dogs make everything better.
I’d highly recommend to people with long-term conditions which affect whether or not you can get to a polling station that you apply for a postal vote, or a proxy vote, in future.
I get a postal vote because my mental health problems affect me in such a way that I sometimes cannot face leaving the house.

Hi! So, I know it's been quite a while since you made it, but could you share how you made the victorian porn banting? Did you use iron on transfers? Thank you! ♥
Hiya! They’re actually all on paper. I just had a template size for the bunting flags and cut the to size and stitched them in place. I had to reinforce the backs because otherwise they curled but just gluing some of the excess paper to the backs sorted that out just fine and dandy. Iron-on transfers would probably be way cooller but I wouldn’t know how to do that without special printing equipment. The paper version has endured well though - three years later and it still looks grand.
