Not a dream
Absolutely bawling my eyes out right now after I found out that the two year old baby boy from that viral video in which he is eating food with chopsticks like an adult, earning him the nickname of “chopstick pro” (real name Haihai) is actually battling a rare form of cancer and one of the ways his mom rewards him is by making him his favorite food.
He was diagnosed when he was one and all of the trips and stays at the hospital had made him independent and sensible, hence why he knows how to take care of himself and eat so well. His grandma is also battling terminal breast cancer, and his father often can’t be with him because he has to take care of her as well.
He lost all of his hair after chemo, so his big sister (who is also still a little kid) cut some of her own to give it to him. Having two really sick family members put a financial strain on the family, and they had to borrow a lot of money to get by, ending up being shunned by some people around them.
Fortunately, Haihai became a beloved internet celebrity in China after one of his videos went viral and his social media accounts are helping them pay for treatments.
Please get better Haihai, we are all rooting for you. No child should ever be going through something like this.

AMAZING NEWS EVERYBODY! HAIHAI IS IN THE CLEAR NOW!
After being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at the tender age of 1, Haihai, who is 5 now, and who has undergone over 60 invasive procedures in the past four years, is on the road to recovery.
All of his indicators are normal and he is regularly taken to get more tests done to check everything just to be safe, and so far all of the results have been nothing but positive.
His grandma has unfortunately passed away and Haihai misses her very much. She begged the family to use all their money on Haihai’s recovery and not on her, but many kindhearted people helped the family with donations and Haihai’s parents are very thankful to all of them for it.
Haihai, five, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when he was just a year old. Since falling sick, he has learnt to be independ

Every day i think about those black musicians whose songs were made into covers by white people and now everyone thinks that these are the originals. Youtube comment sections are full of people like "is this what it feels like to find out you're adopted?" instead of celebrating and promoting the original creators of the songs.
Gloria Jones - Tainted Love
Little Eva - Loco-Motion
Martha & The Vandellas - Dancing in the Streets
James Ray - I've Got My Mind Set On You
Big Mama Thornton - Hound Dog
Robert Knight - Everlasting Love
Erma Franklin - Piece of My Heart
The Family - Nothing Compares 2 U (written by Prince)
The Supremes - You Can't Hurry Love
The Supremes - Keep Me Hanging On
The Top Notes - Twist and Shout
Lord Creator - Kingston Town
The Paragons - Tide is High
Commodores - Easy
And here's an entire playlist with songs by black artists covered by The Rolling Stones:
