Something I think is neat and really cute about fanfic is that there’s a personal version of each character in it? Like, each writer focuses on different traits and qualities and even though there can be a hundred fics with the same character, they’re really not exactly the same.

So even if you and I are writing a fic with the same characters, they can still be uniquely different despite having the same core and they’re each dear to us personally as our take on the person.

I don’t know, I just think it’s cute that each writer cherishes these characters in personal and unique ways.

Aw, my fav 🥰 I had fun creating this one. I love cute, simple fluff.

* Kiryu loves to cuddle with you. It’s almost as though the big tough guy he presents himself as is just a facade, because as soon as you two get some alone time, he becomes very touchy-feely, grabbing your hands and stroking them, pulling you into his lap, and snuggling you from behind.

* He loves being the big spoon. The feeling of holding you close, his muscular arms wrapped around you comfortably, gives him this sense of fulfillment that he’s protecting what’s his, and he loves nuzzling his head right in between your neck and shoulder, the scent of your hair soothing him further.

* While Kiryu isn’t known for his conversation skills, intimate moments like when you guys are snuggling are when he becomes fairly chatty. He loves to talk with you about everything from how your day went to the latest murder in Kamurocho, your head on his chest, arm draped across his belly, as he runs his long fingers through your hair, all while it’s just the two of you, in blissful serenity. The deep rumble in his chest when he speaks can sometimes be a bit therapeutic, even.

* He isn’t the best with words especially when it comes to relationships and expressing what he wants, so instead of outwardly saying he wants some wholesome snuggles, he will wrap his arms around you from behind and set his head on top of yours, usually followed by a heavy sigh. He also pretends to act tired, knowing that you’re always down for a nap. He’ll even fake yawn and rub his eyes to try and further convince you to lay with him.

Of course! This was my first headcanon so I hope it’s good! 💕

• Nishiki:

• Nishiki is surprisingly nurturing, and will take extra time to make sure you have everything you need so you can feel better.

• He’ll tell you how you still look stunning, although he might tease you about the snot bubble coming out of your nose.

• He doesn’t care about getting sick, he will want to lay with you until you feel better. Not to mention it’ll give him a good excuse to be lazy for a day.

• He’ll start to worry about your health if your illness still hasn’t gone away after a day or two, although he most likely won’t say anything out loud.

• Nishiki is pretty affectionate, he’s gonna make sure to run his fingers through your hair or softly stroke your cheeks to relax you, that way you can fall asleep and get the proper rest you need to feel better.

Tachibana:

* Tachibana is the sweetest boy, and will ask you if there’s anything special that might help you feel better. If you deny him, he will go to the store and buy a bunch of stuff for you anyways; medicine, soup, saltines, juice, you name it.

* He’ll run a warm bath for you, and even sit with you just to keep you company, even if you would rather sit in silence due to your headache. Then, he’ll help you get all dried up once you get out, and lead you to the bedroom, where he’ll tuck you in and assure you that he’s there if you need anything at all, before leaving you to rest.

* He’ll be persistent about making you special foods when you’re sick, asking if there’s anything in particular that you want. If you don’t answer, he’ll surprise you, politely reassuring you that you don’t have to be shy about eating.

* If you still aren’t feeling better after a couple days, he’ll end up getting worried and call the doctor.

* Once you start feeling better, he’ll take notice even without you saying anything. He’ll notice that you’re getting your energy back, the hint of color in your cheeks have returned, and you’re less grouchy, which will leave a warm smile plastered on his face. He’ll stroke your cheek and tell you in a soft voice that he’s glad you’re feeling better.
