I remembered that Unas is the reason I downloaded DIslyte back in November. He and his wife are super beautiful, and the concept of them fighting together even after death is super romantic....

Several months later I still don't have them, and we only meet when their teams beat my ass in PVP or the tower LOL

Triki is unexpectedly climbing the list of my favorite espers. I admit to dismissing him on the basis of his Joker-kingpin aesthetic, but his appearances in the bounty stories (his and others') has turned me around...

(story spoilers, content screenies. Don't click on if you want to experience it yourself!)

His friendship with Eira is adorable. The way he trolls her on her birthday while still providing a thoughtful gift, showing his respect for the things that matter to her. GEE. Getting to read the birthday letter is such a treat.

He appears in Chloe's stories too, and they develop a rapport. He tries to hire her as a fighter in Graywater, which she declines.

"my olive branch is not about to wither on the vine" is just such a solid one-liner and gives you a feel for how he smooth-talks his way to where he is. These character moments where people connect with each other is what it's all about for me!!

Sure, the writing team is want for another editor or two, but the character writing is quite nice. I almost always come away feeling more endeared to these characters, and like I understand the world a little more.
