Words can have multiple meanings. Lesbian means a homosexual woman but it also means someone from Lesbos, you’re right! But seriously, words can have multiple meanings but identities refer to something exact and real, they’re not things you can just change the definition of.

Hey so as a trans man who’s best friends with a they/them lesbian, and they’re friends with many he/him lesbians, he/him lesbians do NOT hurt us trans men at all.

Many trans men have spoken about this, stop using it as an argument point please. If anything, he/him lesbians help normalize using someone’s pronouns regardless of what you think of how they look.

Lesbians that use anything but she/her are not the same as transgender men. I use he/him pronouns because I want to socially be seen as a man, and it’s more comfortable for me to be referred to that way. Lesbians do not have this experience, regardless of pronouns.
