it physically pains me to know that there’s tumblr dipshits out there who hear orientations ending in ~sexual and immediately assume it’s in reference to sexual attraction separate from romantic attraction. like someone tells them they’re a bisexual and their first thought is “ok they’re sexually attracted to 2+ genders, what’s their romantic attraction though”.

and whenever they encounter shit about how heterosexuals are privileged “ok but not heteromantics” actually enters their heads.

their entire perspective around sexuality has become so skewed by the Split Attraction Model that they assume terminology, privilege, and society as a whole is centered around it. despite barely anyone outside of AVEN and LGBT tumblr circles knowing what the SAM is.

Lesbian culture is trash.

The strong hate for trans people, bi sexuals, Aces, and queer people as a whole who are not lesbian.

I don’t give a fuck if you’re lesbian, but I do give a fuck about the very toxic aspects of lesbian culture. I’m queer myself and it pains me too see the lack of self criticism among WLW spaces when their communities are very toxic.

It’s really sad how bad the lgbt+ community’s gotten on tumblr. I might not have realized I was nonbinary and could be a lesbian if not for this site and would probably still not have a word for my asexuality and would probably still feel broken and unlovable and afraid of being abused (well, more broken and unlovable and afraid of being abused).

Now whether they’re exclusionist or not ppl think aphobia is totally fine and not an issue. Monosexism and exorsexism are heading towards the same treatment. And more lgbt+ ppl are starting to sympathize with anti-sjws about ppl that aren’t gay or binary trans, treating “mogai tumblr” like it’s ridiculous and openly mocking nonbinary/m-spec/a-spec ppl in the exact same way cishets do.
