View of Westmoreland House from Armada Place. These buildings make up one of the biggest derelict sites in Bristol, most recently occupied in 1986 with some of the buildings empty even longer. Looking at the history of planning permission proposals gives an interesting insight into how the living standards in Bristol have changed in that time; an application was made in 1989 for the development of 63 flats, by 2011 this number had risen to 183.
