HIIIII so I absolutely adore the way you write it's so clever and poetic. I was wondering if you can recommend any other GG writers who have a similar style to you? Or even just a bit more interesting than a straightforward structure with metaphors and the like? I haven't really discovered anyone but I'm notoriously picky and struggle to find summaries that grab me the first time around.

First of all, thank you SO much, that is SO nice!

Second of all I definitely DO have some suggestions (I don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for but I think these all have really interesting and unique styles with invigorating and metaphorical use of language and often interesting takes on structure) but I have to preface this by saying that I am a DUMB bitch who forgets a LOT so @ everyone PLEASE do add on if you wanna!! I'm just gonna list some that first came to mind (and I'm betting they all have v memorable titles 😂)

Beth/rio??? 🤪 mainly in the sense that I enjoy romance/softness/domesticity for them in fan works that I think i'd've found boring in canon, but also hmm I find their messiness with all the shooting kidnapping threatening getting arrested etc etc etc endlessly fascinating, but that rarely felt like it was being given the weight it deserved in canon, and I'm not sure I understand what was going on in s4 really. so while I appreciate that the show strove to leave them in a good place (and that makes me sideye previous choices less) idk, I think i'd've taken the show treating their stuff with the weight it deserved over the awkward/rushed/confusing clawing together of a happy ending for them? 🤔

Unpopular opinion: annie/Ruby > drio (rio/dean)

🤓🤓🤓 so these are both ICONIC ships but I think im going to have to disagree bc annie/Ruby (sidenote: what IS the ship name?? runnie?! anby?! the goodies?!) is like a salving fix it ship vs d(r)io being THE best ~canon ship 🗻🤺

I do NOT understand what they were trying to do with Annie's story if it wasn't about comp het. Like seriously seriously seriously the parade of terrible men vs the chemistry with Nancy ('I DON'T love you' 🤯🤯🤯🤯 who says that?!) was one thing but to cap everything off with that fake date with nick's gay assistant immediately after Kevin basically bullied annie into officialdom together was just 🤯🤯🤯🤯wot

And both stan and Beth were 😡😡😡😡pissing me off with their possessiveness and controllingness towards Ruby in s4 grr. Especially bc the show left annie and Ruby in turmoil, but gave rio and Beth some at least tentative peace, Annie/ruby/nevada is a lovely 🎀😍post-canon solution😍🎀

BUT I don't really see a lot to it in canon yknow? It's more my exhaustion with annie/terrible men & disappointment with the stan-Ruby-Beth stuff talking 🙃

Whereas Dean IS canonically obsessed with rio, and rio IS canonically obsessed with Dean, and they both ARE extremely annoying and frankly no one else should have to suffer spending time with them. Plus Beth IS canonically in love with ruby, not either of them (which does make the runnie or w/e ship a lil more complicated but 🤷🏼‍♀️👀🍿).
