I wonder how many people wish I never came into their lives. I have the feeling that their are a lot of people that wish I never crossed their paths.

recognize when a phase of your life is over. whether itâs a job or a relationship or a period youâve outgrown, learn to let it go. moving on doesnât always have to be a painful, dramatic event. you are allowed to exit gracefully. you can move forward with peace.
iâm just very very very tired
Me: Iâm so tired.
Brain: No going to bed. you have things to do.
Me: What things?
Brain: Unclear. Stay up just in case.
My life hurts
iâve found that most of the time my happiness relies on a kind of aggressive optimism
a forceful positivity
continuing to spiral is easy. thinking bad thoughts is a breeze. doing nothing all day and feeling sorry for yourself and wasting hours on end takes zero effort
you know whatâs hard work?
pulling yourself out of it
thinking âhmmmmm Nope weâre Not gonna do that todayâ and meaning it
replacing the âwhat if everyone hates me what if iâm going nowhere what if iâd be better off deadâ with âwhat if it works out? what if iâm overexaggerating? what if i drink some water and go to sleep and things seem ok in the morning?â
it feels like an actual physical exertion sometimes. you might groan and grunt and moan a little and maybe fall back and fail
but just like building up resistance to weights or running for an extra minute every day, you can practise and practise until what used to feel impossible comes easy
Having a mental illness is weird because I could literally be going through the toughest things and not even shed a tear but then have a mental breakdown because I dropped something on the floor
Hereâs a weird thing Iâve learned since I started working with the homeless: If you want to know if someone grew up rich or poor, take a look at their teeth. It seems so stupid now, but before I got this job, I didnât really think about teeth. I went to the dentist every six months. I was bucktoothed and gap-toothed as a child, so I got braces. Thatâs just how life worked. Almost everyone I knew had braces. By my final year of high school, my graduating class was a sea of perfect smiles. It never once dawned on me that other families might not have thousands of dollars to spend on cosmetic dentistry. In my world, if you needed braces and cleanings, you got braces and cleanings. In the real world, thousands of children go without those things. People who live on food stamps canât afford fresh food every day; when you grow up poor, you often grow up with sugary snacks and beverages, which decay your teeth over time.If your tooth gets chipped, broken or rotten, it gets pulled or it stays that way, because you canât afford to fix it. And at the end of the day, you end up as an adult with dental issues. If you have nice teeth, you probably donât realize this, but we live in a world that is fucking obsessed with teeth. Celebrities have nice teeth. Politicians have nice teeth. When you picture a rich person, a successful person, an educated person, they have a full set of gleaming pearly whites.Â
In our culture, we use âbad teethâ as a signal of poverty. They are shorthand for low education, for âhillbilliesâ with a lower quality of life. Bad teeth are not welcome at job interviews. They are not wanted in the dating scene. If you are trying to be taken seriously - at the bank, at the lawyerâs office, at your childâs school, at the doctorâs office - bad teeth will hold you back. And the consequences go far beyond the social issues. Tooth problems are painful. When you go to the dentist every six months, cavities and issues get caught early. When you go years between visits, abscesses, infections, exposed nerves and irreversible damage have time to take root. Itâs an extremely painful thing to live with, it can make eating unpleasant, and tooth infections can get into your blood steam and kill you. Teeth are a health problem, and yet we price dental care like a luxury commodity. So if you meet someone with crooked teeth, or broken teeth, or tooth decay, donât stare. Donât make fun of them. Donât fixate on it. That person may not have grown up with the money or nutrition that you did. Take the person for who they are, not for the teeth in their mouth. Dental care should be a human right, just like healthcare. Letâs fight for that.
if it makes you unable to get out of bed: youâre not faking it
if it makes you unable to think straight: youâre not faking it
if it makes you unable to brush your hair in the morning: youâre not faking it
even if youâre still able to work and smile during the day but unable to sleep or move later that day because of it: youâre not faking it
if it effects you in any way: you are not faking it
THIS IS REAL, donât second guess yourself because others do
totally me
Be cautious with missing persons reports
Iâve seen the occasional post on here saying someone is missing. You have to be really careful about these posts. Often times, abusers will post a missing person report on here so they can find their victim. Here are some red flags to differentiate abusers posts and actual missing people posts.
They tell you to not approach the person if you see them. This is a huge red flag. If someone was kidnaped they probably would love to see someone that can help them come home.
They claim the person is not in their right mind. While this may be true for actual missing people, it is also a red flag if it is accompanied by âDo not approach them or tell them you can get them homeâ
They say not to call 911 and provide their personal phone number instead. Kinda self explanatory. If it is a real missing person call 911.
They didnât file a missing person report with the police. Take a quick google search and if there is no actual report, be cautious as hell.
Abusers will try to find their victims again through claiming they went missing when in reality, the victim escaped. Be cautious.
The silent treatment really fucks you up. Abusers use it as a way to manipulate their victims all the time.Â
Now I panic at every change in tone. I canât be lonely. If someone doesnât answer I immediately panic and assume the worst. I over analyze every action and text. The silent treatment really fucks you up.
You grew up lying. You had to lie about everything to survive.Â
Now lying is too easy and you sometimes canât tell the difference between your truth and your lies.Â
A bingoooooooo
