Nakamura might be one of the best representations of autistic loneliness and self isolation I’ve ever seen in anime to be honest

between completely missing the social cues to follow when hirose and his group leave, (and only following after a direct invitation that in most real cases isn’t given)

and being bullied out of his interests and having no friends mentioned until hirose. As someone with autism, he’s seriously relatable and very dear to me in his well done representation
