And then, there was Achilles. Now there was a guy who had it all: the build, the foot-speed. He could jab! He could take a hit! He could keep on comin’! BUT THAT FORSLUGGINER HEEL OF HIS! Hi guys! I know I’m not active here anymore, but with college and work it’s been really difficult to have time for tumblr. I’ve been though really into embroidery these past months and I’ve finally gathered up courage to show them online! you know what really fucking sucks? being the “optional” friend

if you say you can’t go out, they’ll still go out without you except that when one of them says they can’t go out, all plans get cancelled

each member of your friend group can hang out together in pairs but none of them can hang out with you unless another friend is present

special things/plans get done for everyone else’s birthday, but for yours, you just get a “hbd” on facebook

when a conversation is happening about something or someone in one of your friend’s lives, everyone else in the friend group knows exactly who they’re talking about and what’s going on, but you just sit there clueless. not because you can’t follow the conversation but because you don’t know anything about the situation because none of them shared that information to you

everyone is able to go out of their way for one of the friends but the moment you need something that requires an ounce of effort, no one steps up to the plate

… it just really fucking sucks being the “optional friend”
