Oh, that clock! Old killjoy. I hear you. “Come on, get up”, you say, “Time to start another day”. Even he orders me around. Well, there’s one thing. They can’t order me to stop dreaming.

A sample of the masterful work of Eyvind Earle, the artist who contributed largely to Sleeping Beauty's luscious and unforgettable art style.
These breathtaking backgrounds would take the animators up to 10 days to complete.
The time, passion, and artistry poured into this film make me adore it all the more.

I recently went to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Disney World and visited their Walt Disney Studios courtyard area!
In front of the animation building replica, they have handprints of the Disney characters like the Hollywood celebrity handprints in front of their Chinese Theater replica!
I couldn’t fit all the pictures in this post so consider this part one, with the other parts coming soon! Here’s who I could include:
Wreck It Ralph (2012 Wreck It Ralph)
Vanellope (2012 Wreck It Ralph)
Jafar and Iago (1992 Aladdin)
Ursula (1989 The Little Mermaid)
Cinderella (1950 Cinderella)
Mufasa and Simba (1994 The Lion King)
Little John and Robin Hood (1973 Robin Hood)
Mowgli (1967 The Jungle Book)
Cruella De Vil (1961 One Hundred and One Dalmatians)
Stitch (2002 Lilo and Stitch)
Which one is your favorite?
Call me crazy but I do think something that would vastly improve the parks is getting both more specific and more general with their gift shops. Not everything has to be tied into IP, you can still put Disney parks on it but you can get some plain sheriffs badges or adventure canteens etc in the shops.
Sort of back to when they first opened when there’s more stuff spesific to lands, where each Mainstreet shop sold a different thing or experience. It’s not getting rid of Disney merch entirely but it’s more stuff to the actual experience/themeing/immersion
They’ll die before they ever go for this. Something something shareholders but man the reading of the creation of Disneyland and world books have sort of ruined me with all we used to have…
