This blog is inherently neither Radnormal, Radqueer, Cleanqueer, or any other blank queer stance. It is simply neutral grounds for all to have a place to recover

While I do have my own stances these will never be brought up in the blog unless someone directly asks me or it is in the case of contact stance. I'm a firm believer of anti-contact for all paras.

I am more aligned with chromerqueer out of any blankqueer stances (coined by me) which I will link

Do you mean recovery as in getting mental help, and dealing with paraphilias safely and healthily, or a process of getting rid of the paraphilia?

Sorry, I am just not sure since I've seen it used interchangeably, and that determines if this blog is helpful to me or not

Recovery in a way that is done safely and healthy. Whether the person chooses therapy or whatever they so wish to recover. I do not believe in force recovery or trying to get rid of a disorder because I believe that even after recovery you can still have the disorder even if it is not present as much

I’m very much anti-radqueer but I’m so sick of the anti-rq community demonising pw para disorders, they make it seem like every para is actively harming others or like the rq paras (not a para myself but often have similar things said about me because pOCD) just because people have bad thoughts doesn’t mean they are evil and will act on them, people deserve help not hate

When you are involved with a community that has godawful shitty takes on paraphilias, it absolutely does. It completely fucking does.

I am not taking you off that blocklist, paraphiles have a right to know that you are involved with the same communities that spew hatred towards them.

My guy, I have a "harmful" para, I have literally educated the coiner of radnormal on why no para is inherently harmful until they act on them and refuse recovery and continue to harm.

I have never ONCE spewed my hate for people with paras, id be quite hypocritical for that. And once again this blog is fucking neutral ground. I am trying to be a neutral tone as well as not be rude but you are being quite hypocritical by not allowing people to be removed from that block list when they have said countless times that a Blog on it is not inherently a certain thing.

You guys want maturity yet the removal link on the block list is some stupid YouTube video. If you want people to see you as mature you need to start acting mature, such as actually providing an actual link to be removed, not creating a public block list because you don't agree with certain views and you group every person in that Community into one thing when they're not. Just like how everybody says that all paras all predators when they're not, it's the same with saying all Radnormal people hate paras

So I would want you to think about your actions and your thoughts and your decisions on this because obviously you're not seeing the Fuller picture of the fact that most of these people are minors and if any harassment does happen and they do something and it's irreversible it's not going to be on them it's going to be on the people who has them which is considered cyber bullying which in the states is a crime and if they're pushed to suicide then it could be a federal crime a felony

i fear that i have harmful paraphilias (big 3 + others) and i don’t know what to do about . Obviously i am anti-contact and pro-recovery but i don’t have any access to healthcare or anything to help me. I know that they are bad for me to experience because it gives me distress about my life and the future. I don’t know if it’s disordered though, i hope not? If you can, can you give me a definition of both of them because im pretty sure (for example) pedophilia is a disorder paraphilia

Most Paras are from trauma, which makes them inherently disordered.

This link states "Paraphilic disorders are recurrent, intense, sexually arousing fantasies, urges, or behaviors that are distressing or disabling and involve inanimate objects, children or nonconsenting adults, or suffering or humiliation of the person or a partner, with the potential to cause harm." And "The unconventional sexual arousal patterns in paraphilias are considered pathologic disorders only when both of the following apply (1): They are intense and persistent (lasting generally 6 months or longer). They cause significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning, or they harm or have the potential to harm others (eg, children, nonconsenting adults)."

The DSM-5 states "Most people with atypical sexual interests do not have a mental disorder. To be diagnosed with a paraphilic disorder, DSM-5 requires that people with these interests:

• feel personal distress about their interest, not merely distress resulting from society’s disapproval; or

• have a sexual desire or behavior that involves another person’s psychological distress, injury, or death, or a desire for sexual behaviors involving unwilling persons or persons unable to give legal consent.

To further define the line between an atypical sexual interest and disorder, the Work Group revised the names of these disorders to differentiate between the behavior itself and the disorder stemming from that behavior (i.e., Sexual Masochism in DSM-IV will be titled Sexual Masochism Disorder in DSM-5).

It is a subtle but crucial difference that makes it possible for an individual to engage in consensual atypical sexual behavior without inappropriately being labeled with a mental disorder. With this revision, DSM-5 clearly distinguishes between atypical sexual interests and mental disorders involving these desires or behaviors. The chapter on paraphilic disorders includes eight conditions: exhibitionistic disorder, fetishistic disorder, frotteuristic disorder, pedophilic disorder, sexual masochism disorder, sexual sadism disorder, transvestic disorder, and voyeuristic disorder."

Thought crimes are not real crimes, you can't call somebody who has thought about murder a murderer the same way you cannot deem somebody who has had a paraphilic thought a predator, they can still go to therapy and recover before they ever harm anybody

pro-contact means you support harmful contact between a paraphile and the subject of their attraction. it's a stance relating to real life interactions and relationships. it has nothing to do with fiction, and fictional content cannot be pro-contact.

do you mean if someone consumes and/or produces dark fictional content they shouldn't join? or only if the fictional content contains sexual violence?

Ohh I guess sexual violence, from my studies I've heard that sexual violence can sometimes worsen someone's recovery. Also I don't really care if someone uses it to recover id just rather the topics not be brought up in the server

Depends on the type of proship and dark fiction

I'm not one to judge a possible way to cope but if it's in any way Pro contact (like incest, rape, zoophilia, etc) I don't support it

The server does say "DNI proship" but I mostly mean it in the way of incest and shit, not stuff like bully x victim n shit

I don't really like ship course outside of the obvious illegal parameters
