Carousel 017: innocence
a couple of weeks ago I asked my friends to watch a carousel projection and then write 1 word to describe it. here are the words. as you can see, some common threads emerged 🖤 thanks to everyone who participated!

I’m happy to participate in the latest issue of Hulltramar #666 dossier le temporaire. The issue is about former art space Le Temporaire. I’ve contributed two inserts of images from that space, including this silver print from a Scattered Clouds show, 2011. come get your copy tonight at the Vernissage : Temporaire de 2009 à 2017, Galerie UQO

very pleased with how my image turned out in issue 1 of OPAL (the Ottawa Photography and Art Label).
Biggest fear, 2018
here is one of my failed attempts to expose half of a frame at a time, flipping the camera in between. the successful shot is featured in OPAL magazine issue #1. come to the launch and get a copy for yourself!

my piece is called “Biggest Fear”, 2018.
tbt, summer 2012. I went to halifax for a solo vacaytion. took this picture of these strangers on a hill.
later on, I became intrigued by the image. and related it to how society elevates “the couple”. it became inspiration for my project to marry my art.
this image is still relevant to my practice today.
