PROCLAMATION
Feigned illness results in feigned nursing
acts of pleasurism
Disruption Therapy techniques do not seek to brainwash, but to empower lateral thinking for common good. One of the greatest acts of disruption that can be achieved is through an Act of Pleasurism. This is the absolute opposite of Terrorism and should be thus enacted. A pleasurist incident should involve random groups of people who are assembled at any one moment. You might have twelve boxes of chocolates with you for the purpose and give them to a group of people who are perhaps waiting in a queue. Be random and indiscriminate - as would be the weapon of the terrorist - but spread pleasure. You dont have to use chocolate, or any commodity at all. An act of affirmation is fine but is better served with some kind of physical token to mark the Pleasurist incident. Note: Working against perceived stereotypes are highly effective in Pleasurist incidents. You might hand out twelve business cards of a restaurant you enjoy. There is no requirement to spend money, but no restriction either. Please note. Pleasurism is not a Random Act of Kindness. You are a perpetrator of pleasure and should expect no narcissistic glow to the self. The act is purely intellectual
Nobody Tells Me What To Do
Nobody Tells Me What To Do or nemo inquit mihi quid faciam is the leitmotif of this environment. As long as you remain within the law, you are free to exist as you please without the determination of others. This does not mean that you are counseled to be ill-mannered or ignorant. Charm is an international currency and Disruption Therapy is a tool in the armoury of goodness. Use it wisely and ruthlessly wherever you encounter Corruption Therapy.
Disruption Therapy is a practice for a sophisticated mind. It does not require academic intelligence, although it certainly does no harm to have some. It is a form of thinking designed to free the individual from externally-enforced thought and its natural enemy is Received Opinion, or what might be better called Corruption Therapy. The purpose of engaging in Disruption Therapy is to live a better life through unexpected patterns of behavior - to free yourself existentially by thought and to live in personal contentment. If your life is for the benefit of others, then that must be because you chose to make it that way and not because it was enforced on you. Disruption Therapy can be a useful tool against petty tyrants in our life (hereafter referred to as The Offended) because it does not comply with their thought shapes. They expect their behavior and opinions to determine what happens next. Don’t allow that to happen. Confound them with Disruption Techniques. Speak Freely. Speak Honestly.
The stallion of Thinking
What could be better than playing this music while getting dressed for work? You will be surprised at the efficacy of the results ....
The Disrupted
enforcing party guests to balance a plate on their head is a highly sophisticated means of disruption. No, they are not allowed to remove them after 5 minutes
Cake à la Mode
I detest pastry forks and think they have failed to adapt to modern tastes. They are designed with almost no function other than to allow only the smallest amount of gateau onto the fork, and if puff pastry then none at all. Tonight I ate cake from a dinner plate with a knife and fork and it was a small but significant revelation with which I shall persist. This is especially true for Christmas Cake which cuts well and neatly.I have become very interested in Ploughman's Lunch recently on a comparative quality test, going to pubs and ordering a simple Ploughmans. This is a shorthand of the restaurant's repertoire and a good indicator of how fresh and of what quality the ingredients are. I wonder if I shall make a Christmake Cake Ploughman's Lunch. I think I shall market it as a Manger Maker's Lunch and sell the idea to some sort of a cosy home magazine. Obviously Christmas cake and cheese are a Northern custom already but what kinds of salad could complement a cake? Something with carrots or beetroot probably ....
