“So… would you help me?” I ask, trying not to get my hopes up.
“Fuck, I don’t know. I just know that if you are serious about this, there is no way this is the last time I’m having you.”
It sounds more like a promise than a threat. For a few heartbeats, we stare at each other intensely, until our lips crash in a desperate kiss that catches me off guard. Maybe it’s because he never lost control with me. I can’t tell who kissed the other one first, because it seems like we both reached for each other at the same time. I grab his shirt to pull him closer, sliding one hand in his silver hair to cup the back of his neck. I’m not sure if it’s to make sure he doesn’t pull away, but seeing how firmly he is gripping my waist, it’s obvious he doesn’t plan to leave any time soon. He is not hurting me, but his touch is as possessive as it is intimate. He holds me close as if he wants me to remember I belong in his arms… or to convince himself we both deserve each other.
And as we desperately kiss each other, I feel at home and I know there is nowhere I would rather be, until he breaks the kiss, groaning my name like a curse.
