[★] “ Oh, is that so? Then I see that you and I have a serious identity crisis on our hands… cause there’s nobody higher up in my eyes than you! Whenever I look at you, I’m struck by your vibrancy painted with the most fluorescent colors – graced on a pallet which makes the galaxy itself shed its starry tears! You leave me floating so high, I’m practically on Cloudian 9, baby! I’d have to tear open the heavens to get any more higher than you! But if you’re not who I’m supposed to speak with, then I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. Honest mistake…”
Shameless flirting or an attempt to butter her up for that job position – who knows?
Blessing the waitress with, yet, another one of his long-winded soliloquies, Dandy had then plopped himself down at his usual booth. Briefly pausing for a moment, in order to effectively allow his words to sink in. After a few seconds of silence had emanated between the two, the hunter released a pleasured sigh, before wandering eyes began to look the blond up and down.
“ So, I was thinking. Since we might be working together soon, maybe you could teach me that dance routine of yours? Nothing wrong with getting a headstart, right? “
Had it been any other day, or any other situation, his words would've moved her. A flush surely would've risen to her cheeks at everything he said, but unfortunately for him today was not the day for it. She was getting frustrated at this point; did he not realize that she wasn't in charge? That she was JUST a waitress and wasn't anyone to be asked for about jobs? There were managers and her boss for a reason, but clearly he didn't understand what she had meant by 'higher ups'.
Honey always tried to give him more credit, but to have him still here asking for a job alongside her at an obviously FEMALE-ONLY restaurant was making her wonder if he really was just a bit stupid.....
She was still giving him more credit than he needed.
"Dandy, we're not going to be working together. If you really wanted this job you'd have to talk to my boss, but honestly? Nobody is gonna hire you to work here."
A sigh passed her lips as she rubbed her forehead, grateful that he had managed to come in during a slow part of the evening so she didn't have to stress out about running around on TOP of dealing with his ridiculous questions.
"Listen, it's late and I'm off soon so.....if you're not going to order something, you need to leave."
