Please bog the way they are already fighting like an old married couple…I was halfway into the fifth “fine!” Of the third chapter before I was like, “they are so in love” (Why did I imagine Enid actually becoming fond of Wednesday and wanting, to actually help her sick lil wife) like actually wanting to, out of sheer desire and protectiveness and unselfishness? 😭 😭😭 I know it’s a long way till we see the fruits of this fic but…I can’t wait. the new series seems promising and I love the idea of it being arranged. Definitely going to be quite a riveting read! Thank you again for the three chapters. I hope to read more soon.

it's...not? 😅 or at least i don't consider the alpha dominance/hierarchy stuff in wolf biology(?) and canine packs the same as "omegaverse"
for me, the omegaverse as i know of it has always been a parallel with the wolf dynamics applied to humans. and i thought it stemmed from the supernatural show, with it being popular particularly in the mpreg genre? i imagine the two are probably more conflated now (maybe specifically in the wenclair fandom?) because the character of enid herself is a werewolf? i guess i wouldn't know, because i (personally) haven't seen/read ABO fics with non-human characters before wenclair and i only read F/F fics 🫠
anyway, long story short! this is why i don't usually have enid as a werewolf at all in my ABO fics (with the exception of oittb bcos of the whole other racial stuff going on 😅)

What are your plans for DLTY
in dlty, i wanted to write wednesday in her head a lot and the way i interpret her character is firstly, on the spectrum, and secondly, just someone who finds it incredibly difficult to understand her own feelings and emotions and therefore, communicate to others. so the rest of the fic is pretty much just that (and i guess more smut 🌚) with wednesday trying to find that understanding of herself, others and to communicate more, not only with enid, but with her family.
here's a sneak peek of a later chap 👀
“Onto other important matters,” her mother says with a serious demeanor. “Now that we know you have delved into carnal pleasures with someone other than yourself, we should discuss responsible intimacy.”
All thoughts of Enid are instantly tucked away for later cogitation.
“Mother,” Wednesday warns with a scowl.
Unfortunately, her mother is not deterred. She wriggles her eyebrows together, places the tip of a finger to her lips and adds with a coy grin, “And erogenous zones.”
Seeing Wednesday’s scowl deepen, her mother cries mournfully. “Wednesday.”
“You do not know how long I have wished for us to have a deep and sacred mother and daughter chat. Please do not deny me this.”
It’s surprising when Wednesday feels herself wavering. It must be from the unexpected enlightening words of wisdom she had received from her mother amongst the almost…bonding and connection between them.
Both Wednesday’s silence and the tight line of her lips are enough to let her mother know of her acquiesce. A euphoric smile spreads across her mother’s face and she holds her hands together against her chest in zest.
“Let me bring the tea out.”

i have a swap AU idea (which i refuse to start until i close my other works) and this short sequel to wrap up things after the epilogue (but its been hovering at 5k words for the past two years and the only good thing about the delay is i can finally give a canon name for enid's doctor lmao):
Looking at Enid with concern, Dr. Fairburn continues. “You seem more…distressed as of late. With a higher sense of urgency with your progress. Any reason why?”
She ignores the heat rushing to her face because Enid has never been comfortable talking about things like this. She’s confidently settled with her omega status, but this specific limitation to her body is still something she’s working on.
She twists her wedding band around her finger, avoiding eye contact with Dr. Fairburn.
“Wednesday’s off of her suppressants now. Completely.”
Or, in which, Enid is determined to help Wednesday through her rut.

It’s the rice cooker hugger again…and I read chapter 11. I am not ok for multiple reasons:
Io:
- Despite being a prodigy, her having a high EQ for a child is already making me feel things like she’s quite observant because of how lonely she is. The subtle fact that she probably remembers the names that were directed to Enid and how much she cries at night. Also Io isn’t a big girl yet!! She’s still tiny!!!
- Also her having “dreams” is making me teeny weeny hopeful because wdym Wednesday is holding another baby?!?! plus an Io and Wednesday hug is making me a bit excited
- makes me wonder what would she feel when she finally sees her parents interacting in a civil manner (and by civil, I mean the yearning gaze and Io is going to draw the three of them holding hands together I just know it)
Enid:
- this fear and self-loathing of how far her lies and secrets is making me want to pull my bedsheets apart. Like I get it Enid but also goddamnit Enid
- Girlypop remembers how Wednesday looks at her back in their teens I just…it’s so gay
- I do love her curiosity with Thing and Nero, I have a feeling she’s going to help with Thing’s need for skincare and she’s going to paint it’s nails 💅
- I also have this inkling that she’s going to be so scared of the potential distance between her and Io because the kid wants to learn magic (although I feel like she would love to see Io and Wednesday have those debates and Wednesday gets stumped)
Wednesday:
- the fact that nobody fights for her just brings me back to when she sent that letter to Enid about believing in them….Wednesday crashing out at the thought that Enid doesn’t believe Wednesday is worth fighting for…(I’m pushing back my plans for the rice cooker, put my ass on a damn charcoal grill and I know this burning physical pain ain’t nothing compared to Wednesday’s)
- I fear I teared up when Wednesday heard Io saying “Don’t worry, Serket I’m still here” and “I won’t leave you” makes me think Wednesday doesn’t hear that very often.
- And her asking who called names about Enid…man despite being ghosted, lied to, and being thrown aside Wednesday still wants to protect her and she has no choice but to mingle with locals to pinpoint them omg I will forever love by how you write Wednesday as someone so devoted

i haven't watched much of them tbh - i vaguely recall watching the movie ages ago (looking back, i'm now unsure if it was a bootleg dvd lmao) and maybe an episode or two of the anime version they had out. but outside of that, i've only seen memes (e.g. bubbles holding chopsticks) and clips on tiktok about how they keep bothering mojo jojo when he has done much loool
