It's been a very busy Easter long weekend here at diva9studios ...and with so little time to ourselves we just have to pull out... The ponytail! A classic and a girl's best friend on those; no time to wash, no time to style or just plain lazy days. But this doesn't mean it has to be boring. Try the tousled pony. Your everyday pony with a little extra oomph! 1. Apply a texturizing powder from your roots to the ends of your hair, scrunching as you go. 2. Gather your hair into a ponytail, leaving slight volume at the top.  Secure with an elastic. 3. Take a small section of hair and wrap around the elastic. Pin in place with a bobby pin underneath the ponytail. 4. Give your locks an extra tease at the base of the pony using a brush or comb.  If needed, you can tease the rest of the ponytail for a more textured look. ___________________________________ To learn more on how to give yourself polished glam hair and makeup looks, attend our two day workshops. There’s nothing like a Hot Pink lipstick or gloss to show your feminine side! Here are tips to apply a gorgeous hot pink lipstick or lipgloss. 1. Make sure your lips are moisturized. 2. Apply a base. Use your fingers or a clean brush. 3. Using the same colour as your lipstick/gloss, line the shape of your lips; start by lining you upper lip first and then your lower lip. 4. & 5. With the same pencil or use a lipstick of the same colour if you have one, fill your lips. It's best to use a small brush in order to create the smooth perfect look. 6. With a cotton pad take off the extra pencil of your lip. 7. Apply pink lipgloss for daytime or 8. apply the hot pink lipstick for a perfect evening diva look. 9. & 10.
