this is jung jihoon aka the hunter. he is 35 years old and unfated, and he's acquired ownership of club icarus through ✨ not exactly legal ways ✨ — though most only know him as the masked persona who shows up once in a blue moon preceding a disappearance. he hates fatemarks with a burning passion because they destroyed his family and set him up for failure from a young age, and he will stop at nothing to see the inyeon collective crash and burn. fun!

born on may 31, 1990 in incheon, and lived here his whole life. his family always struggled to get by, and he was forced to start working at a young age to help out. as a result, he barely got through high school and has no interest in pursuing education further.
when he was still a child, his mother was seduced by the idea of fatemarks and spent rent money on getting one for herself. she was soon swept away by a richer man with promises of a happy, resonant life, and was instead used as entertainment for the upper class until she was driven to end everything. his father, already prone to violence, began taking out his frustrations on him with belts and kicks.
jihoon ran away from home in his teens, and went low contact with his father. to this day, they only ever speak when the man manages to track him down, and jihoon has to buy his silence so he can keep his alias a secret.
jihoon has a deep-seated hatred for fatemarks because of what they did to his family. he refuses to be fated, and on the darkest of nights he and his crew will go out at night looking to hunt and hurt those who are fated and choose to brag about it.
he’s been on his own for over a decade, and he’s learned to lean on crime and violence to get by. he’s not the founder of club icarus, but very few know about this or about how he essentially stole it from the original owner through blackmail, right before the grand opening.
at the club, he goes by the alias “the hunter”, and though his outfit changes from time to time, the cedarwood-colored mask is always the same and has become his trademark symbol. he is not often seen in his own club, and when he does show up, it is often said that someone will disappear the next day.
lately, jihoon has also gotten more active in the anti-fatemark scene, helping organize protests and rallies. his ultimate goal is to bring down the inyeon research center and expose the corporation for the greedy, soul-sucking monsters he sees them as.
— PLOT IDEAS.
first off, as he owns the icarus club, i foresee all sorts of fun little things we can do here! whether your muse is a regular known for overdoing it or a newcomer whom he'll do his best to lure and charm, there are many possibilities for interactions. jihoon never takes his mask off at the club (yes, the mask stays on), so your muse will only know him as the relentless hunter. he probably has dirt on you or someone you love, too. that's just how it goes.
jihoon never shies away from a brawl. though he tries to be careful in his daily life so as to not get caught, at night while wearing his mask, he will often go looking for violent ways to let off steam. i'm sure there is a secret fight club somewhere around here.
FATEMARK HATERS RISE UP! jihoon can always be found organizing protests and other disruptive rallies, and he is the first to tell you that being bound to another person though a change in your dna is, honestly, fucked up. he believes that relationships should be free-range, homegrown, grass-fed only.
he hasn't had a real full-time job in over a decade. he tried to be good in his teens, but the anger issues and trauma responses quickly led him astray. he's the typical criminal who swindles for a living, and who's never felt at home anywhere because he's constantly evading either the police or his enemies. any long-lasting relationship he's ever had was built on lies. as such, i'm more than down to plot folks who hate him and want him gone for any (or all) of the reasons above!
i'd be very curious to plot a past romantic relationship for him, too. i have no idea how he'd handle being in love, and that'd be very interesting to explore!
