Wish you could buy self-designed courses, like, submit a request for ‘teach me how select or take quality photos to turn into black work or tapestry patterns and also teach me the software and steps along the way to achieve this outcome’ not ‘here is a photoshop course’ ‘here is a photography course’ etc

so the exercise of quitting all caffeine has finally paid off with real return of steady, consistent energy/awakeness without peaks and troughs. Finally I understand how people can Do Things after work beyond simply going to bed! I understand how staying awake to midnight is relatively normal and not a sporadic caffeine-fuelled haze resulting in some days of crashing!

but now I have to deal with the fact that I don’t actually want to do anything particularly deep to fill these hours, not even really watch or read or make anything

#In a terrible unpleasant pivot: I am actually contemplating nearby 24 hour gyms #it’s an important experience for contemporary slash writing to participate in late night gyms at some point in life #It’s quiet thinking time I suppose #That said I feel attending a 24 hour gym will be a complete betrayal to who I’ve been for the last 40 something years. Who is a person who #Does not do things like that

So this AI loop thing:

Tutor plugs draft unit material into AI to ‘clean up’ the proposed assignment briefing and make it clearer and more aligned w what the unit assesses including proposing rubric

Student plugs unit material into AI to get outline of how to respond to assignment brief in alignment with rubric

Student plugs various iterations of research/leading threads into AI through process of shaping their assignment

Student stress-tests final draft via AI for rubric alignment/did this answer the question and takes any feedback on gaps/tweaking

Student uses AI to help reduce word count

Tutor receives multiple assignments and bulk-loads them into AI for analysis against the assignment brief and suggested grading against the rubric, asking for all assignments to be tiered or marked on a bell curve, including specific comments on strengths and weaknesses of each

Student receives comments and grades and sends their assignment and grading/commentary into AI and asks it if it thinks the grading if fair or if any comments should be challenged

#I don’t know what I’m saying here #But this is happening right.#AI being asked to shape assignments against briefs shaped by AI then graded by AI and challenged by AI #All using a dataset of info within that AI engine that is validating against itself in a word feedback loop?

I 100% understand why every MBA unit requires one group assignment, but mannnnnnnnn they are the worst. This whole degree would be so *easy* and reasonable if it weren’t for the group work.

The group work is legitimately the only thing making me want to throw it in, imagining going through four more of these torturous forming storming norming agonies

#Part of this is my fault for doing it so late in my career #I half take over by default but because I’m half arsing it I also don’t fully direct and attempt to compromise even though deep down I’m #Thinking no #It just doesn’t make senseeeee #But then I don’t make sense either because I’m being conversational not directive #I just work better alone- I explode out very expansively #Then pull back in rapidly and form a view #The size and sheer messiness of my expansiveness out + rapidity of then reaching outcome doesn’t match most people’s ways of working
