Imagine you’re handed an invitation with an address and an access code, but little to no other information, do you go inside? If you’re brave enough to enter, what you’ll find on the other side of the door, through dark mazes and down twisting slides, is The Latitude Society, a secret group of curious and creative minds brought together to create transformative experiences. In Bright Axiom takes us on a docu-fantasy adventure to explore the unique and unusual House of the Latitude, where participants are forced to expand their notion of reality and their ability to trust the unknown in order to fully participate in this social experiment. Director Spencer McCall (The Institute, SF DocFest 2012) defies the code of absolute discretion to invite viewers inside the minds behind Nonchalance, the group of storytellers, designers and artists that developed the Latitude Society and dared a community to embrace the unknown. -MR

A tribute to Kiyome and a benefit for Planned Parenthood this weekend in Oakland!
Kiyomi Tanouye, a woman who died in the tragic Ghost Ship fire in Oakland on December 2, will be remembered in a tribute held at San Francisco's Exploratorium on January 9, 2017.
In collaboration with friends at the Exploratorium, Nonchalance will come out of retirement for this heartfelt tribute to Kiyome “JenPop” Tanouye. See you there.
Kiyomi “JenPop” Tanouye, I will see you Elsewhere.
The Institute is on Netflix until the 18th, after a great 2 year run. Catch a taste of the nonchalance one last time while it lasts.

Have you ever played the game Myst and wished you could have similar challenges in your own world? Or have you ever watched The Game (with Michael Douglas) and wished you could be the hero in an action...
MAYBE I’LL TALK ABOUT IT.
MAYBE I WON’T.
The cryptic creator of alternate reality game The Jejune Institute says there's already another one out there—but it's a secret.
Tease... err...
If anybody has a line to Wes or Mark, please let them know we are very ready to collaborate on this...
The trend in alternate reality gaming fits a traditional definition of hyperreality; the condition where fiction and the real become indistinguishably blended together.
