MAGNIFICENT BASTARD  The Magnificent Bastard is what happens when you combine The Chessmaster, The Trickster, and the Manipulative Bastard: bold, charismatic, independent, audacious and genius. Capturing the audience with their charisma, incredible intellect, mastery of manipulation, and boldness of action, this character is a show-stealer, demanding your reverence at every turn. 

“OMNICIDAL” MANIAC  Who caused The End of the World as We Know It? This guy. Destroying continents, wiping out civilizations, exterminating whole planets: When this character turns up, entire galaxies or universes may die, or even reality itself — the Omnicidal Maniac has made his entrance and where he goes, the survival rate of everything nearby quickly drops towards zero. Put simply, the Omnicidal Maniac is a villain whose main plan and motive is "destroy the world". He actively seeks the destruction of whatever world the setting is based in, does it as an end unto itself, has the ability to do so, and is both aware of what he's doing and fully motivated to do so. He can and he will, even if it logically means going down himself as well.

THE SVENGALI The Svengali is a manipulative, controlling mentor that exploits their student for their own gain. While emphatically not a good mentor, The Svengali is usually not so much trying to pass on a legacy of evil (unlike the Evil Mentor) as control (and exploit) their disciple by any means possible, from just plain being a Manipulative Bastard through overt Mind Control to More Than Mind Control, often with a side of Stockholm Syndrome, Lima Syndrome (or both).

HAIR-TRIGGER TEMPER A character with a hair-trigger temper flies into a rage at the slightest provocation, they react explosively to the slightest annoyance. Unlike someone with a Berserk Button, who is generally calm until a specific button is pressed, characters with a hair-trigger temper can be set off by anything. This makes them far less predictable — and far more dangerous.In comparison to the "avoid the Big Red Button" approach with someone with a Berserk Button, conversation with someone like this is like trying to navigate a minefield without a metal detector. You know the danger is there, but you have no clue exactly where it is. At best they're tetchy and anxiety-inducing. At worst, they're a surly, dangerous, ticking time bomb. The very act of trying to talk to them might be enough to set them off. Trying to joke with them is downright suicidal. And even just trying to stay away from them won't necessarily help; they're likely to take being ignored or avoided as a deliberate snub, and... well, you get the picture.

SMUG SUPER The Smug Super is a super hero or villain who knows they've won the Super Power Lottery and won't hesitate to remind others, especially if they're beneath him on the Super Weight scale. This character is similar to the Smug Snake, though rather than be manipulative and sneaky, he's very up front about his opinion of himself and is an active fighter who is at least on an equal footing with the rest of the cast. he can be very enjoyable to see in action for the One Liners they deliver. Likewise, he might fall over the edge into camp. These characters are more likely to experience This Cannot Be! moments than others on the off chance they lose. In combat, he's likely to hold back, taunt his opponents, and Trash Talk with the best of them. Though he might occasionally suffer setbacks due to his Pride and underestimating opponents. Especially if they're mere mortals.
