loved how since diya and min are the established couple in the sequel we just get a ton of fluffy scenes of them flirting and being happy together. that was so frickin adorable. so many good bits. Min is such a good girlfriend and Diya was just so happy all the time, it was pure sugar. i especially laughed out loud at how we got the flashback of diya’s mom telling her to stay away from min bc she wanted her to be normal only to smashcut 6 years into the future of diya and min making out in the locker rooms. If only you knew bigot mom…

Also really loved when min quit smoking and diya’s like “sorry for making you change for me” and min’s all “??? babe you didn’t make me do anything, i just decided i liked making out with you more then i liked smoking” something about the way that was phrased and the following talk they had about how you cant make people change, you can only say how they are making you feel and hope they will change themselves was really good. 

With a lot of stories that do the “high school relationship lasts years into the future and they stay together and get married” trope it tends to feel a little unrealistic, but with diya and min i absolutely buy it. Like noelle said there was something almost inevitable about their romance, and i totally see it lasting into the future.
