Spring needs to hurry up and get here.
Machinedrum's newest, bump this tonight.
The sound of summer.
Fred Falke always turns in amazing work. This is no exception.
So there is this guy called Atu, and he makes the chillest of beats. For 5 bucks, you can be the owner of his latest album, a collection of dreamy, punchy beats that remind me of a more-alert, less-experimental Clams Casino. This is my favorite cut of the album. Go cop it!

EDIT Here‘s the link. My bad.
Timbaland's production and Missy's words (she be singin' them bangers too) make this one of my favorite albums for its laid-back vibe, personality, and bevy of funked-up, bassy beats from Tim "Timbaland" Mosley. Missy Elliott's debut is a swagged-out (seriously though, you can't not hear it!) strut along the line between R&B and rap that goes well with everything, from car music, home listening, to party beats.
Keep finding gems from this album...guess that might help to explain the cover. Never get tired of looking at it. Somewhere in a parallel universe, I'm driving this beauty, headed straight for the neon-tinted horizon, bumping nothing but the smoothest tunes.
Just made a new playlist, and I'm really feeling this one...give it a listen! And if you don't already follow me on 8tracks, do so! I try to deliver a playlist every week or so. Got to stay consistent. Anyways...enjoy! Think warm thoughts..

Sunny/warm/groovy/tropical/pick an adjective. Nice little groove courtesy of Young Marco remixing Heatsick.

Todd Terje on remix duties generally bodes well.
Really been digging Real Estate's second album "Days". Breezy, easy-going guitar music. Pop music if all pop music wanted to do was sit around on its porch with good friends and just talk. It's real endearing for me I guess.

Langenberg's "The Finisher", the A-side of his recent four-track outing on Steve Bug's Dessous imprint, came late last year, and it's honestly one of the tracks to remember. It takes that Detroit vibe and it just rubs your face in it. But not in a bad way...it just washes over you again and again, those huge synth stabs...it's like laying on a beach, right where the waves wash in right under you, and you're gently lifted up, a momentary sense of weightlessness...then it's back down to Earth. That's what it feels like.
Man, I love this song.

Arthur Oskan's twinkling synth odyssey is one of my favorite tracks of the year so far. "Maximillian" balances a taut, buoyant bassline with glassy chimes before entering into the meat and bones of the track. Does a great job of keeping the soundscape engaging without letting it become flooded with sound, something a number of producers do that frustrates me. Leave some space in your music, sheesh! A keeper, this one.
When your beats sound straight out of a trap house in an old-school Final Fantasy game, you're doing something right. "Prettiest instrumentals in the game" is a damn accurate statement...
Can't wait for Dark Grapes & 808s III !!!!!!!
One of the best EPs of 2012, and a great track nevertheless. A hi-energy space workout.
W0oah. New Main Attrakionz, produced by Grown Folk. Wavy like I've never heard and super smooth. Dope spacey beats.
