Hey there,How is the Fomapan Film? I have been trying to find a good fine grain solution for 4x5... If you like it, how are you processing it? Which developer? Anyway I recognize your work from a few overlapping tumblr blogs and flickr from use of the aero ektar. Thought I'd ask!

I'm not sure when this came in so... sorry if it's been pending for a bit.I like fomapan, it's been a great learning film for me to learn to focus and use the 4x5 and Aero-Ektar on a budget. The grain doesn't bother me much, but i do very much prefer Acros 100 over the fomapan. There's just something in the smoothness and contrast of Acros.I'm processing in a jobo tank using ilfosol 3. I've tried ddx, hc110 and d76 but i find ilfosol is just my easy fall back, quick to mix, and I always seem to have it on hand.

Also, I'm scanning on an epson v500 that makes me crazy. I have to scan things in two passes. The top half of the image and then the bottom since the scan area is not large enough. I then merge them in photoshop.
