Starting up a sister site, FREQS TOP TRAX, a music only blog that I intend to post daily to. It’s going to be music only; Stuff I find on Spotify mostly, stuff that I’m playing out, listening to, remixing, or being inspired by. There’s a great deal of new music I don’t get to share here that I think this site would be a better forum for as I seem to have fallen out of love with Tumblr a bit.

I’ve already got it fairly well organized and feel pretty excited about it, 2 things that I can’t say I have going for this site. If I can stick with it, there’s a good chance I may just convert from Tumblr>WP and call it a day, cutting bait with this old site altogether.

A return to Tumbln'.

Well, This website has been severely neglected for months, and that's my fault. Life gets in the way, you start focusing on promoting on Facebook, spreading your media all over God's green electronic Earth, and then suddenly you remember you have a website. I ditched Facebook. Goodbye Twitter. Adios Instagram. I forgot about my first love, a good old fashioned website with quality content. No more quick hit posts. I will continue to post my radio shows via Mixcrate and link them here, but I intend to write a bit each week about how I developed my set, how I decided on my tracks, post some more reviews of music I find and love and why. I lost sight of music being a big part of my spirituality and I want to share that with any passing visitor. I need to fix broken links, tag old posts, do some general house keeping. I look forward to sharing more of my music, my passion, and myself with you in the months to come.

Starting off the new year on a new foot, for the first time ever, DJ Freq flipped over to Channel 3 - Hypnotica, on VirtualDJRadio.com and played an improptu, unannounced set of DEEP, chill house. This is NOT your usual Dj FREQ set.
